So much anger so much rage
Boiling inside
Pent up
You never saw
Smooth the edges
Make them perfect
Your eyes are shining but not for long
Why can't you reach for the stars now?
Did they fade out and fall?
Tangle the knots
Screaming and fighting
Manipulating and not understanding
Darkness and temptation
Angel wings and
Scars
Halos and shadows
An unfamiliar one
A forgotten ghost
There in the moonlight
Across the forgotten starlight
Like I'm gasping for air and these words are how I breathe
Saying something
Anything
Paint the skies with a hundred possibilities
Paint them and let them stay there
Flickering
Doubt no doubt
No room
For it
Cast it away
Seeing through it all
And exhaling it all
Wings and falling
Crashing and crying
Illusions and fake
Taking it all over
Gathering your courage
Don't let it spill over
Thinking
Hurry now
There's not much time
Before the sky falls and the world crashes
Not much time,
Not at all
So run before the fire starts
And your dreams fly away into the sun
Run and don't look back
No room for regret
