It had been two weeks since Pietro died. The funeral had happened and Wanda was a mess. Cassie wasn't talking to anyone. Neither were happy. Cassie wouldn't eat or sleep. She had passed out a few times.

Thor often came to check on the two. Tony had found a kid named Peter Parker, SpiderMan, he was 15, 2 years younger than Cassie. He stayed at the compound with the rest of the avengers and would put notes under Cassies door. Most had smiley faces on, others were 'hey' or 'hello'.
Although she would never admit it, she appreciated these notes. It was nice to know that someone other than Thor and Wanda could be bothered to check on her.

After spending nearly 3 weeks in her room, Cassie finally came downstairs to the living room, where the other avengers were watching a movie.
At first no one noticed she came in apart from Peter, who waved at her. The others all turned around to see what had got his attention. When they saw how the young stark looked their expressions softened.

She looked bad. Sick, even. Her eyes were puffy and red. Tears stained her cheeks. Cassie was wearing one of Pietro's hoodies. Wanda walked over and gave her a hug, the two stayed like that for a few minutes before Cassie finally spoke.
"Are you ok?"

Wanda hesitated for a moment.
"I've been better."

They hugged again and Natasha suggested getting a takeaway.
"McDonald's anyone?"

Peter practically jumped out of his seat.
"I'll go!"

Cassie smiled at his reaction to her favourite takeaway.
"I'll come with."

The whole room seemed to lighted up when she smiled. It had been so long since she had shown any sign of happiness at all.
Tony took his car keys out of his pocket and threw them towards his daughter.
"Don't crash my car."

"No promises."

"YOUR STARE WAS HOLDIN'!"
"RIPPED JEANS SKIN WAS SHOWIN'!"
"HOT NIGHT WIND WAS BLOWIN'!"
"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOURE GOIN' BABY!"
"HEY I JUST MET YOU!"
"AND THIS IS CRAZY!"
"BUT HERES MY NUMBER!"
"SO CALL ME MAYBE!"

—-at the compound-—
Cassie and Peter came running in laughing, which seemed to gain the attention of the rest of the avengers. The two teens gave everyone else the food and then dragged Wanda to the screening room to watch a movie. The trio decided on Harry Potter and the goblet of fire.

"Why is Harry going with parvarti? He should obviously be going with Ginny!"
Wanda said, pointing at the screen.

"Ginny? No! Harry should be with Draco! DRARRY IS REAL!" Cassie argued. Peter gave an aggressive nod to show he agreed.

"No!"

"Yes! Ginny and Luna should be dating!"

Before the other could reply, Clint came in with a serious look on his face which Cassie didn't notice.

"What's up katniss?"
When she didn't get an answer she was met by her friend looking a bit sad.

"Damn who died?" The brunette joked.
Peter giggled quietly.

"Fury's here. Bad news. Come on." Clint gestured towards the door.
The three stood up and walked into the elevator and went up to see Natasha arguing with fury.

"She's a kid! You can't just send her away!"
The redhead said, slightly raising her voice.

"We can't contain her powers. We don't even know what they are. She is more dangerous than anything we've ever faced before!" Nick fury yelled back.

"Don't call my daughter dangerous! You are not sending her to Asgard!" Tony interrupted, looking extremely angry with the man across the room.

"Nat's right. She's 16. You can't just send Cassie to another planet." Steve agreed.

"Either we send her to Asgard or we eliminate her. Your call." Fury said while walking out.

It was silent for a moment before Cassie spoke up.
"You're sending me to another planet?"

"We don't want to. But they'll kill you if you don't go." Her father looked down, refusing to make eye contact with the girl.

"I'll go." She said, surprising everyone in the room.
Peter had never looked sadder. He had only known her for two weeks but her and Wanda had became like big sisters to him.

"What? Why? We need you here!"

"Peter, it'll be fine." Wanda said, putting her arm around Cassies shoulders.

The group shared looks and it was quiet until Thor spoke.
"Fantastic! I can't wait to spend more time with you lady Cassie. Maybe we can watch those Midgardian movies that you like!"

Cassie smiled at him. Thor was always smiling and very happy.  It was one of the things Cassie liked about him.

"That would be cool."

After packing her things and lots of DVDs, Cassie said her goodbyes and made her way out front.

"When we get there I'll introduce you to my mother. She will be able to tell you what other abilities you have and how to control them." Thor said to the brunette.

Before she could respond she was blasted into space and found herself in an unknown place.
"Thor?"

He held out a hand and helped her off the floor.
"Welcome to Asgard"
