Flower (A Wattpad Original)

•Chapter Four•

I woke up feeling really warm, almost hot. I turn over and I can feel Im not alone. I sit up scared out of my wits. Im panting as I scoot over to the other end of the bed. The stranger did not stir. I keep scooting as I try to recollect who would be in my room, in my bed. Leo is too cold to keep me warm, and everyone else is just freezing, and the stranger is too warm to be them. I fell off of the side of the bed.

I fell on the floor with a thump. The stranger woke. I heard the light footsteps of my family, I counted five footsteps. Leo was still asleep. He wont be up until a couple hours before the sun rises. My midnight intruder was on the other side of the bed when the light was flipped on it turned out to be Angela.

W-what are you doing in my bed? I whispered in shock.

It was late, I am not allowed to drive at night. The rest of the nightingales said I could sleep here tonight. So I called my parents and they said it was okay, She chuckled nervously.

Why are you in my bed? I questioned.

Anna said I could sleep here. Nobody wanted their sheets to smell like a dog, She said in an apologizing tone. I could sleep on the couch if you want.

My couches are not smelling like a mutt. If Delilah has a problem with you sleeping with her, she can either get over it, or she can sleep on the floor. My mother told Angela. Such a hospitable person she is. I rolled my eyes and climbed back on my bed. Everyone but Angela left.

I-I can sleep on the floor if you want, She stuttered. It was cute.

I sighed, If I had a problem, I would be sleeping in Leos room.  She sighed and climbed back on the bed.

I woke up starving, I wanted to eat. Right on cue, Leo walked into my room. We do this every night. I got up out of bed and walked over to him. We intertwined our hands and walked out of the room. Greyson and Emma went to their house hours ago. Mom and Dad were in their sound proof room, and Anna was in her room, it was in the guest house. She got it whenever Emma and Greyson got their own place not too far from here when they got married. It was a very cheesy wedding.

Yes, very cheesy. So cheesy we almost died, Leo whispered.

Shut the heck up! Anna could be listening!

Not likely, she is working Megan out of a fit because Brittany had the audacity to tell her her skirt was from last season. Brittany also told Leah, who told Charlie, who told Emery, who told-

Ohmigod, stop! I cut him off, We could care less about Megans skirt crisis. We are having one of our own. Its called hunger. Leo nodded in agreement. When we reached the kitchen, I got down a bag of chips. Leo grabbed a bunny out of its cage. This was always the hardest part for us. Leo always felt guilty for drinking humans, so the best alternative for him was bunnies, his favorite. We walked up the stairs, Chips and a dead bunny in one hand, holding the others free hand. We usually go to his room and watch Vampire Diaries till morning. I have a guest in my room so I pull him to the side.

What about my guest? What if she wakes up?

Who? Oh! You mean your pet! If she wakes up, she can watch the show with us, He bluntly stated. We were watching the rest of the last episode when Angela started to wake up. I started to stand, Leo put his hand over mine to stop me.

Shes gonna make you go back to bed. Youd better finish the last three and a half minutes. Ill go with you after, He said calmly. He stood, as I sat down, and chucked the bunny out of the window. When the show was over we stood and calmly walked to my room. Angela woke up to the sound of Leo and I entering the room. We quietly walked over to the bed. Angela was on the very edge of the bed. I got in first, then Leo. I wonder Would Leo get imprinted on by a wolf like me?

Maybe, I don't know. Could happen though, Leo whispered into my ear. Angela turned over to cuddle me. Id like the thought of Leo being with me forever.

I will be with you forever though, till the day space burns, I promise, He says and I believe him. Twins Forever.

Twins forever, He says as I start to fall asleep.

sighed, I wish we could stay like this forever, but I know we have to leave it behind someday.

Were all immortal, we can stay like this till the earth dies.

The earth will eventually die, and it will take us with it. But where will we go after? We didnt ask to be like this, we were born into it. Most vampires didnt have a choice as to weather or not they got to be like this. I can only think of two vampires that wanted to be like us, and theyre fictional characters. My twin and I laugh a little. Angela stirs and pulls me closer to her. I get a little embarrassed and Leo sees this and takes a picture. It's not everyday you see a werewolf cuddling with a half-breed vampire, and he was taking advantage of it.

Looks like you just lost your cuddle buddy. I say to him, doubting that Angela would sleep anywhere other than with me in her arms.

Its almost worth it. He says with a sad expression. I dont think you have a choice. I think to him.

Yes but I can steal you. He goes to a whisper, change into a newborn. I do, the second I change he whips me up out of Angelas arms. He starts to run out the door and I change into a one year old, so I can hold my head up while he runs. As we turn out the door I see Angela jump out of the bed and chase after us.

We twist and turn down and around the hallways and stairs. Both of us giggling as we run round and round. At some point I forget that we are running from Angela. I take a huge deep breath and scream,

PASS THE BABY! And our favorite game begins. Suddenly I am passed off to Ana. She runs with me for a good minute, then I go to Papa. We go up and then back down. Then I get passed off to Mama. I am passed back and forth for a good thirty minutes. I am a giggling mess. Ana hands me off to another person. I suddenly stop, thinking the game is over, I open my eyes. I see a very angry looking Angela.

Where is your brother? She asks through gritted teeth. To be completely honest, I had no clue. I just shrugged and yawned. Angela saw this and immediately soften her facial expression.

Come on, lets go back to bed. She carries me back upstairs and climbs in the bed. She holds me in her arms. She whispers, I know you just look adorably cute as a baby, but can I hold you as fifteen? I nod and turn back to fifteen. She pulls me closer. I cuddle and I hear Leo approaching. He creaks the door open. He steps closer and I feel Angela softly growl. Leo doesnt seem to care though. He climbs into my bed and wraps his arms around my neck. He presses his forehead to mine like he always does. I put one hand on his face and the other on Angela's hand thats on my waist. We fall asleep like that.

In the morning when I wake up I see Leo and Angela standing at the foot of my bed arguing. I pretend to be asleep.

I dont care, Im not letting her go there!

She has to go! The Roi et Reine summoned her! If she doesnt go she will be met with death!

Then we will leave! I am not letting her go there! They tried to kill my family just because we existed! There is no way in hell that Im letting her go there! They can kiss my ass!

Angie, they will come here if she doesnt go to them!

How will I protect her if she is all the way in Paris?

Dont worry Angie, they summoned me also. I will be there to protect her.

I dont want you going either! Your life is just as important to me as hers is! Angela yelled. Im trying not to think, so Leo cant hear me.

That doesnt make any sense. Shes your imprint, she should matter more. Leo was barely audible.

You guys dont understand, It may not be as strong as the one with Delilah, but I imprinted on you too.
