raise your glass
Dear classmates,
Cheers.
Raise your glasses,
And let us swallow our pills of reality
And stifle back all of our dreams.
Stuck in a system that has never worked,
That has killed as many lives as it has souls.
Let us pick up the duck tape
And stick it on our own mouths;
Let us zip tie our own hands together.
Let us do what we are told.
Take one last breath before sinking to the bottom.
Choose now;
Death or recluse.
Boredom or shame.
Cheers to us,
May we die quietly
And may we help our executioners on
The way out.
