Sophie's POV...

I felt the blindfold on my face before I even was fully conscious.

"Ughhsinsvsu" I mumbled while still not fully recovered from the sedative.

"Oh good she's finally up" sneered a voice to my right. "Took you long enough" said Gisela.

"So sweetie, you can either cooperate and we'll take you home as soon as we have the information we need or you can do this the hard way" she said to me as she removed the blindfold covering my eyes

I tried to lift my hand but realized it was shackled to a chair.

"I'll never give you what you want" I spat at her. "Not after all the pain you've caused my friends and me"

"I'll give you one more chance to reconsider that choice." She said " you know Sophie contradicting to popular belief im not a monster. I would rather not hurt you." She said

"Never" I replied taking a deep breath

What would they do to me? I wondered

"Okay Fintan get in here" she yelled

Fintan walked into the room. "She choose the hard way?" Giselle's nodded. He smiled evilly.

A ball of fire appeared in his hand. Suddenly he launched it at me. I couldn't move so it hit me directly in the stomach. My clothes caught on fire as my skin began to boil. I screamed. But I had to stay strong. For my friends

Tams POV...

"What are they doing to her" I thought as we all sat around everglens large table to come up with a plan to save Sophie.

"Okay so it's all settled" said mr forkle. "Tomorrow night once it gets dark we'll go in. We know where she is sense they tracker in her clothes. Keefe you'll follow her emotions with Biana vanished and tam covering both of you in shadows and himself. You'll find Sophie, get her and bring her back to us where we'll be guarding the entrance and fighting any never seen members we see. Okay?"

Everyone nodded in agreement. I didn't want to wait till tomorrow night but it was safest time to do it. I just had to wait it out

Time skip till 6:30 the next night

"Are you done being stubborn yet Sophie?" Gisella asked impatiently.

I just sat there numb with pain. I was burned all over my body. My arms got the worst of it. They were covered it big boils that we're red and itchy and felt like they were fire. I wanted to scream and run and just get out of there. I was in so much pain

Giselle's sighed pulling me out of my inner monologue.

"Looks like we'll have to up the torture level."She reached into her pocket and pulled out a knife. She came up to me and dug it into my skin. I screamed in pain. All I felt was the dig of the knife before I blacked out

Tams POV...

We had just entered the neverseen base. I was covering Biana and Keefe and myself in shadows hoping that it was working like we wanted it to.

"That way" Keefe whispered as we turned right down a corridor that was dark. Keefe kept flinching and looking like he was in a lot of pain but nobody asked about it.

Suddenly we heard a blood curdling scream from the second door on the right hand side of the corridor. Biana and I looked at each other before we ran towards it. I flung it open with shadows. What we saw was terrifying

We saw lady Gisela with a knife dug into Sophie's leg and arm and burns all over her body.

Suddenly rage filled me up. How could they do this to her?!?!?

"Your so EVIL! How could you do this to her?!?" I yelled as I flung a shadow flux arrow at her chest. It hit its mark and she went down. She was unconscious. Biana quickly ran over to her and injected her with a new treatment elwin had come up with to treat shadowflux. I ran over to Sophie. I picked her up gently bridal style and we started to run back towards to entrance of the hideout.

We found Keefe about half way back.

"Sorry guys I couldn't deal with the emotions coming off of foster." He said apologizing.

"It's fine whatever come on we have to go" I said to him still racing towards the exit.

We got there and immediately we froze. Apparently we missed some things because Alvar, Gethan, shadow, and ruy were all tied up and all the black swan + everyone else was running around getting stuff organized. Wow we've done it. We've captured the neverseen

Sophie's pov...

"Tam" I whispered as I woke up. I felt someone carrying me.

"What happened?" I asked.

I heard other voices and I was being passed off to someone else.

"It's okay Sophie. We have you back. We also captured the neverseen. They'll be put to a tribunal and sentenced accordingly ." Someone said softly beside me.

The last thing I though before I passed out again was

"We're finally safe"

Tam pov...

I kissed her gently on the forehead before Grady lept away with her to go to Elwin. We would all regroup there later and check on Sophie.

"We have her back" I thought to myself smiling.

"I guess this is the end of the neverseen then" whispered Biana quickly. "Our nightmares over."

"I guess it is" I replied smiling. "Come on let's go check on Sophie. Mr forkle can you deal with them?" I asked gesturing towards all the unconscious neverseen members.

"Yes we can" he said referring to himself and the black swan.

"Ok" I replied. I grabbed Dexs and bianas hands and they grabbed our other friends and we lept away to see Sophie. The last thing I thought before the light swept us away was

"We're finally safe"

So guys that's it. Well basically I'm going to write and epilogue but that's it for the main story. Thank you so much for being with me through this journey I love you guys so much. Also sorry for any mistakes I wanted to get this published quickly so I didn't edit it as much as I usually would
