Antonio was quick to find people with powers or knew how to fight. He sent them all emails and was not just waiting for a reply. He had already spoke to the government and was given the ok to make a small team for covert missions.
But for now he was home with all his kids. It was different with both Quran and Shuri gone and he disliked it a lot. Sadly it was something he had to get use to for his kids sake. Leila, Pepe and Angel could understand that they were not coming back somewhat unlike there younger siblings who often went searching for the pair.
For now he had nothing to do but be a dad. No missions or guarding post he had to go too. Even if he did he couldn't go considering his children would need a babysitter and he didn't trust just anyone with his kids.
Antonio had enough on his hands. Right now he had the quad triplets seated around the table as he warmed up some mac'n'cheese. That's when he heard screaming . Dropping everything he grabbed his pistol and ran towards the source already thinking the worst. When he arrived in the living room he was met with Pepe floating towards the ceiling. "Leila ,Angel go to the kitchen with your siblings" it was a demand that he was grateful they listened to. He could only guess this was hydra's doing
"Ok son you think you can float down somehow" He was calm hoping Angel would also calm down. He could already see the tears flowing down his cheek
"I cant, dad please help me" he hated hearing the fear in his sons voice.
"L.E.L.E give me mark one" almost instantly did a suit land. He got inside his suit and flew up to his son. He grabbed him before bringing him back down. He should've known the Hydra did something to his son.
He took Pepe to the lab before setting him on the table and tied him down."it's just so you don't float back up ok?"
Once Pepe nodded he left him on the table and grabbed a needle and a swab "L.E.L.E do a body scan on Pepe" he ordered walking back to his son. He took his arm and cleaned it before drawing some blood and swabbing the inside of his mouth
"Body scan complete, Pepe appears to be healthy but does have heighten heart speed due to his fear"
Rolling his eyes he put the blood and swabs away safely before returning to his son."your going to be ok" he mumbled running his hands through his hair to calm him down
"I what's happening to me" Pepe had tears in his eyes and he hated seeing his son this way
"Hydra might have done something too you, we will figure this out" Antonio grabbed a nearby needle and smiled softly at his child"I'm going to put you to sleep now, it's just for a couple of hours but I need you to be calm. I don't want you to trigger any other power considering we don't know in full of what you can do. I'll be with you the entire time" he could see the panic in Pepe eyes the second he said he was putting him to sleep. He seemed to calm a little when he explained why.
"Ok but remember it's ok to ask for help. Shuri does care about you and us"
To say he was shocked was an understatement. He knew his kids took a liking to Shuri but to think of her even in his panic spoke volumes. He knew she could help, they had technology that he didn't have access to. "I'll think about it" he mumbled before inserting the needle. Almost instantly did his son fall asleep leaving him confused, scared, and conflicted
