Dinner
“We’re having a visitor tonight.” Primrose said as she prepare dinner
The twins who are playing with their toys perked up and excitedly asked, “Who will it be, Mommy?”
“The Mister across the street.” Primrose
“The M-mister is joining us for dinner?” Niclaud
“Yes.” Primrose
“Hooray!” Nikola
The twins shared a knowing look. They’re planning to play Cupids tonight.
Just then, a knocked was heard by the door.
“Is it the Mister?” Nikola asked excitedly
Primrose went to open the door, and she was greeted by a peculiar sight.
“Ahm, the two ladies downstairs told me to just go upstairs.” Titus explained
Primrose stared at him.
A black tuxedo.
A bouquet of roses at hand.
A box of candies on the other.
And a basket of food hanging on his arm.
“.......” Primrose
“Mister! You’re here!” Nikola
“W-welcome Mister.” Niclaud
“Aren’t you too early?” Primrose
Titus stared at the three of them. Seeing the excitement of the twins and seeing Primrose dressed simply, with an apron and a ladle in her hand, Titus felt emotional.
He always dreamt of living an ordinary life with Primrose Grace. He’ll work as a soldier, or open a small bakery or maybe own a small farm on the countryside. He’ll come home at night and be greeted “Welcome home, Daddy!” by their children and he’ll spend the rest of his life with Primrose Grace.
That’s his greatest dream.
If the twins starts calling him Dad, he felt like he might cry right now.
“Hey, are you alright?” Primrose asked
“Y-yes.” Titus
“What do you have there Mister?” Nikola asked curiously
“Oh! These flowers are for y-you, Lady Primrose.” Titus
Primrose accepted the bouquet of roses, “Thanks.”
“These candies and chocolates are for the two of you.” Titus then handed the box of sweets to the twins
“Yey!” the two said happily
“And ahm, I brought some bread and some soup.” Titus explained what’s inside the basket
“Is it Cream of Mushroom Soup?” Nikola
“Yes.” Titus
“Mommy, t-that’s your favourite!” Niclaud
“It is.” Primrose nod and wonders if Titus knew about it or if it was just a coincidence.
The twins smiled at each other.
Good job, Daddy!
“Come on in.” Primrose opened the door widely to let him in.
“Thank you.” Titus
“Make your self at home. Dinner’s almost ready.” Primrose said after Titus sat down at the sofa
