As I open the volts hidden in the deepest depths of the labyrinth perceived to be my heart, I find a chamber laced with everything naturally beautiful I have ever seen
The best of the best places I have ever been.
Everything seems untouched save a void
A corner of nothingness surrounded by all this beauty
As my intellect adapts the void begins to take shape:
It lacks a smile that invokes hope
A hope that invokes joy
A joy that invokes love
A love that invokes life
This chamber in my heart lacks a heart
Despair sets in as I begin to realize how perfectly imperfect my chamber is
Everything in place except that which cannot be forged by man
I look into my hand and hope returns to my despairing soul
I see a key that, as what my void lacks, cannot be forged
But at least I have it with me and I will guard it to unlock my chamber once more once I find what I am searching for
I back out with all that I must to seal the door
As I turn the key to lock my chamber, the key slips from my grasp and is lost by my sight
As panic prepares to consume me, I hear a gentle tap at the window and as I peer through my vision is greeted by loving eyes that gently whisper to my soul:
"I see you as you see me
As poetry created to perfect something otherwise perceived imperfectly
As a dance with a message
A song as a chant..."
From the outside I realize that she has locked herself within
She fills my void impeccably
Lovingly I realize that even if we should part, she will forever be locked and remain deep within my heart
For a woman who appreciates poetry and the arts respects God and thinks with her heart
