After witnessing how hard the cannonball execution game was Iruma and his friends decided to ask the principal to train them and knowing that Arianna didn't know about the event yet they first came to get her then explain what happened then proceed to ask the principal. The principal then chatted with Iruma and Arianna for a bit before telling Iruma to hold the ball and before throwing it he have to shout 'Ribera' and when Iruma did a blue dragon made of pure magic appeared taking the ball and blasting it to the sky. Iruma denied the use of magic because the magic was from his grandpa and he wanted to win on his own effort so the principal then asked if Arianna also wanted to not use magic when playing and Arianna said that since she's a half demon then her physical strength is stronger that's why she just needed to train for a bit and decided to ask Opera to train her knowing the cat demon would agree if she asked and he does seem strong. The principal agreed and called Opera to train both Arianna and Iruma.

Opera then threw the ball at Iruma wanting to see if he can catch it since he know that Iruma is good at dodging then stopped after measuring iruma's ability. After the first day of training Opera enchanted the ball to avoid hitting Iruma on the face and told Iruma to catch the ball but Iruma continued to dodge making Opera annoyed, they continued to train until Iruma finally manged to catch the ball. After training Iruma Opera then began training Arianna by telling her to exercise then he also started to throw the ball at her to see if she can catch it and was surprised to see that she caught it the first time. Arianna told Opera that back at the human world she was good at catching things since she liked to catch flying objects hurling at her but told the cat demon that she can't throw it since her aim is quite bad so Opera took her outside and showed her a boulder and told her to aim at it but Arianna kept missing it so Opera taught her to concentrate on the boulder and ignore the sorrounding then when she has centered her attention on the boulder she have to throw the ball at it. Arianna tried the method and succeed so Opera told her to continue aiming at it until she's used to it. After training Opra decided that they are ready for the real game.
