they will tell you that you are beautiful
radiant
everything they ever wanted
then shatter your heart into pieces
crumbs
you're too curvy
too thin
They will tell you
you're too feminine
too masculine
They will break you
smile more,
you look so angry
stop smiling so much,
you're too overbearing
sleep with more men,
prude
how many have you slept with?
Slut
Then after the abuse is through
when your body is bruised
squeezed into a mold not made for you.
they will say, "now, you are beautiful"
as they prepare another mold
for you to fill.
