One of Hajime's first reasons for liking Komeada in the beginning was because how Komeada took Junko's hand and the Izuru side took notice of this and made Hajime feel safe around him until Komeada showed the capability to murder someone for hope. The Izuru side also took notice of this and made Hajime think that he was unsafe since he did try to murder somebody.
