The only reason why Souda looks the way he looks is because he used to be bullied by the way he was a "nerd" for his love for robotics and the way he used to look a bit weak. So he changed his whole look, even asking Ibuki to dye his hair a different color, so she dyed it pink as a joke because "Pink is the manliest color!"
