Kendall drummed his pen on the cover of his AP Literature book. The teacher was going on about some special interpretation of their last reading assignment and he simply did not care for it. Sometimes a blue door was just a blue door, not a symbol of depression or deep emotion! Kendall scribbled some notes down on his paper, trying to keep up with class. He had gotten back to school with just enough time to hear his Chemistry teacher ask him if he was skipping class to have sex in the supply closet again.

All that did was make him miss Danny even more than he already did. He felt so lonely and depressed not having the boy with him. Mother was right, he had become too distracted by his boyfriend. Part of him was unhappy with himself for becoming so dependent on him, but another part was happy that he had someone who meant so much to him. Kendall glanced at the clock. He had been at school for nearly an hour and yet nothing had happened. The police presence was hard to miss, but nobody came to grab him yet. He had the feeling that he was being watched, so he acted normal, like any other day at school.

But he knew the moment was coming.

Just then there was a knock on the classroom door and both Agent Dobbs and Callow came to get the giant. They opened the door and spoke with the teach quietly got a moment before turning to him.

"You need to come with us" Agent Callow said calmly but didn't smile unknowing if Kendall was just like his brother. "You won't be back by the time this period is over so bring your things. You'll have a note for your next class if it goes over."

Kendall smiled at them, already displaying himself as being very different from his brother. "Wow," Kendall said with a bit of glee. "Gonna be interviewed by the FBI... That's pretty dope!"

The other students laughed a little. Kendall gathered up his things and put them in his bag. He got up and walked towards the door. He gave a fellow soccer player a fist bump, and then he stopped in front of Bernard, the boy who Kendrick had scared yesterday. The giant tapped on his desk to get his attention.

"You see man?" Kendall said softly. He pointed at the agents. "They're here. They're gonna keep us safe now. You ain't gotta worry about anything anymore." He smiled at Bernard and was glad to see the boy smile back at him.

Kendall went to the teacher and got his assignment for the day and then he went to agents. He looked at them both and smiled. He was taller than them both and had to look down at them. "Lead the way, sirs."

The agents raised their eyebrow at him but decided to smile. He was much calmer and easier to deal with than his brother already and they appreciated that. The agents gestured for Kendall to walk out of the classroom first and they walked behind him.

The agents lead Kendall to the same room his brother was questioned in. "Go ahead and sit," Agent Callow said with a smile. "We just want to ask you some questions, maybe you could help us get to the bottom of this, who knows."

"Well I'm not really sure I can do that," Kendall said skeptically. He sat down and looked around.

He knew this was the principal's office, but he had never been inside before. He looked at the walls and the shelves and observed all the things she filled it with. The books were basic academic reading, nothing personal or unique. But there were lots of trinkets, they looked like souvenirs. Kendall continued looking around, playing the part of the simple student who didn't think he was in trouble.

Kendall looked back at the agents and smiled. Kendrick had told him their names and described them well enough for identification. Callow was good looking. If the agent were younger and Kendall was single, the giant would have made a pass at him. Dobbs was exactly like Kendrick had said. He was stiff and stone faced, glaring straight at him. And Kendall smiled back at him. "What kind of questions did you guys have?"
