Kendall pulled out his phone, keeping his back to the woods. The most important thing now was to make sure he stayed composed and kept his expression neutral.

Shawn: Shadia. Keep Danny in the house. There is someone in the backyard. Warn mom and dad.

Chuckling softly, as if reading a funny message, Kendall turned around and began pacing back and forth. He kept typing on his phone, pretending to send messages. He raised his eyes slightly so he had a better view of the woods. He used his mother's sight to try and find the intruder, but he had a feeling he knew who it was. He kept his ears open for any sound and he tried to sniff them out, but he needed to use a skill he was sure would work.

Someone was in the bush on their property. Kendall could hear the rustling of the leaves and small foot steps wandering around on the grounds. It was Chad with his HD Camera snapping any shots he could of Kendall to turn into the FBI. His friends went missing after they posted that article about Danny clearly that was a trigger so Chad decided to do is own investigation. He stayed low and stopped moving whenever he thought Kendall caught on to him.

"How the fuck can he hear this?" Chad whispered to himself low enough any human wouldn't be able to hear him. Good thing Kendall was not that.

Kendall continued to pace around the yard, tapping on his phone. His eyes saw the dark blue aura of the figure hiding in the trees. And recognizing the clicking of the boy's camera, he knew it was the third photographer from school.

A big grin spread across Kendall's face. How kind of him, Kendall thought. For the boy to come here, to his house, practically surrendering himself to his fate rather than making the tailypo go hunt him. It was so generous. He would be the snack he promised mother. But how to lure him in?

Kendall looked up at the window to his bedroom. He didn't see Danny there. He hoped Shadia got his message and was keeping him distracted. Then, he moved to the back of the house and went to the garden. If the photographer was here, it meant Chad was searching for clues about the other two. Kendall began digging in the dirt. From where Chad had been hiding, he wouldn't be able to get a good picture of what he was doing. He'd have to risk coming closer.

"Shit" Chad whispered seeing Shawn get low. He assumed he was going down to dig up something to do with his buddies. Moving around in the bushes Chad laid on his stomach and crawled directly under the plants. He moved his camera to see Shawn digging in the ground.

Shawn had to make sure he didn't smile too much. If Chad saw his face, the boy would know he was being fucked with. Shawn knew exactly where he was, the kid may have been sneaky before but now he was exposing himself for the sake of a picture. With a short jump, Shawn could land on top of the boy.

Reaching down into the hole, Shawn acted like he grabbed something. He lifted his hand up and he could hear the boy's breathing speeding up. Then, right as he his hand came up out of the hole. He turned to face Chad's camera and gave him the middle finger.

"Hello Michaels," Shawn said with a growl. He gave the boy a big smile. "How's that for a cover photo?"

"F-fuck" Chad whispered to himself as he shot out of the book holding his camera to his chest. The boy immediately tried to run away making his way though the grass but the yard was large. There was an open field leading into a wooded area that he ran to. Keeping his camera close to his body he could hear Shawn's breathing getting closer to his neck.

The boy didn't realize that Shawn was almost literally stepping on his heels. This wasn't a chase. This wasn't even a challenge. He only needed to let Chad get into the trees so that they wouldn't be seen. But Shawn quickly got bored of waiting for them to reach it. So he positioned himself behind Chad and pushed him hard enough to knock him off his feet and throw him into the woods.

Chad flew into another bush rolling in the ground he saw his camera had been cracked. "What the fuck was that?" Chad whispered to himself getting back on his feet to attempt his running again. "Y-you're done for Richardson, f-fucking murderer." He coughed wiping the blood from his mouth.

"Aww now that's just being rude," Shawn said sarcastically. He came out of the shadows on Chad's left and tripped him.

Chad fell back to the ground, landing on top of a rock that hit him in the gut. He coughed up more blood as the pain hit him. He could hear Shawn's footsteps coming closer, crunching the leaves and sticks.

"You sneak onto our property," Shawn accused, a slight snarl in his voice. "You invade our privacy. You take pictures of us." Shawn squatted down next to Chad so the boy could see his face. "And now you call me a murderer? Where is your evidence?"

"Ch-Charlie's phone c-call" Chad coughed spitting out some blooding and holding his stomach. "He told me he was coming h-here" he confessed with a bloody grin. "After that," Chad explained more as he tried scooting away on the ground, his ankle was twisted from the fall so running was no longer an option. "We posted that photo with the wrong caption on purpose, it was to lead you out. Have you come confront us about it but when Kendra came and destroyed the room while I was gone I knew something more was too this. She didn't care about Danny but you do! You care so much that your sister ran and kidnapped my friends!" He shouted with tears down his face. "A-and they're dead" he added as blood dripped from his mouth. "I know they're dead, I know there's a fire pit in your house and the tunnels smell like human remains doused in peroxide and soap."

Shawn raised an eyebrow. This boy had done his due diligence. It surprised him that Charlie had called this kid about the night he came to the Richardson house. Had Charlie anticipated something had happening? And Shawn had thought he played that situation so well.

Shawn kneeled down next to Chad's head and pet the boy's hair. "A lot of that sounds circumstantial at best. The furnace in the basement and the smells? I have many reasons to explain that. And my sister?" Shawn scoffed as if it were a joke. "Who says my sister had anything to do with that?" He gave Chad a wide, sinister smile. "Even the FBI admit they can't prove anything about that." It was a lie, the FBI had only said they couldn't explain Penny's death.

Shawn continued to pet Chad's hair. "Now listen to me Michaels. You're hurt, bad. But I can take you inside and help you. All we want is to live a nice peaceful life. So I need to know..." His hand stopped moving in the boy's hair and Shawn leaned over Chad's face to look him in the eyes. "Who else have you talked to about this? About any calls or any of these suspicions of yours."

Chad gulped not wanting to give up everything he had, though he knew it was going to be hard to get out of this situation. "If you didn't do anything then call me an ambulance! When you call them, I'll tell you everything else I know. But if I die, people will know that it was someone in this house!" Chad was bluffing he hadn't told anyone he was still investigating. His parents knew but they and the FBI told the boy to stop before he got hurt. Now here he was basically staring done the barrel of a gun.

Shawn smiled. His nose couldn't tell him much, but one thing he had learned how to sniff out was a lie. He reached down and pat the boy on the head.

"Let's get you inside," he said with a sympathetic tone that was disturbing for the crippled boy to hear.

Shawn tore off a piece of his shirt and stuffed it into Chad's mouth. If Danny weren't here, he wouldn't be worried about noise. But he couldn't risk Chad trying to call for help. Then he took out his phone and texted Kendra again.

Shawn: Shadia. Answer my messages, please. Keep Danny in the bedrooms. Or at least away from the basement. I'm coming in.

Shadia: don't worry your wife is going over cheers in my room. Which is weird when I'm on pompon🧐

Chad tried to spit out the cloth but his mouth was covered. He tried wiggling and something in his body made him go stiff. The boy was still conscious but no longer had any reason to move. He was petrified with fear realizing what could possibly about to happen to him.

Shawn smiled and put his phone away. He turned to Chad and smiled. He clapped his hands together and rubbed them against each other. The scared boy could see Shawn's nails turning black and growing into claws.

"Alright then, Michaels. Let's get you inside." Shawn smiled and let his canines grow slightly into fangs. "I'd like you to meet my mother."
