Agent Callow stepped up and blocked Kendrick's path. Both agents were staring down the giant. Dobbs had his typical grimace on his face and those cold eyes stared at Kendrick with such intensity it was like he was trying to see into his mind. The agent was determined to catch the Richardsons.

Dobbs looked down at Donie. The boy shivered, feeling the agents eyes staring at him. Dobbs saw the boy's fear and knew he could use it to get information out of him. But they needed to get him away from the puppet master.

Dobbs looked up at Kendrick. "We need Mr. Jackson to come with us." His voice was cold and unfeeling. "And we need him to come with us now." Callow crossed his arms over his chest, trying to look relaxed but he was clearly posed and ready to get physical if he had to.

Kendrick wasn't scared he looked down at the agent giving him a cold stare back. His hold on Donie didn't loosen at all but he propped up the boy so they could see his face.

"You're telling me like I'm keeping him from you. He clearly doesn't want to go with you. Go ahead, ask him yourself." Kendrick smirked knowing Donie wouldn't go with them. He wouldn't even open his mouth without his master's say so. "Do you want to go with the agents for them to question you?"

Donie shook his head and pressed himself harder against Kendrick. He wanted to back up and get far away from the scary agent. The old man looked like a movie villain.

Dobbs didn't move and he looked at Kendrick. "And I get the feeling he won't say a word to us because you've told him not to. It's not difficult to see the kind of...relationship you have with him."

Callow scoffed and stared at Kendrick with disdain. "Call this a relationship? More like a kid keeping his pet on a leash. Dennis looks more like your servant than a boyfriend."

Kendrick felt Donie's grip in his shirt tighten. The boy turned and glared at Callow. He stepped away and took a breath like he wanted to shout back at him. How dare he say something like that about his master!

Kendrick looked at Donie with a smirk him get upset over the agents words was nice to see. He knew his pet had a lot of spunk in him and would more than likely not be able to hold in much more. He knew Donie would obey his orders but he also knew that his pet had the courage to speak out and apologize about it later.

"Oh so you're saying that he doesn't want to talk to you because I told him not to talk to you? So are you saying that he has no mind of his own? That he has no free will?" Kendrick suggested letting Donie know he could speak up now without any repercussion.

Donie leaned towards Callows and pointed at him. "You don't know anything about him! You don't know anything about us! Just because you old people are so narrow-minded! You can't accept any kind of relationship that's different from what you accept as normal." He said making air quotes. Donie only spoke at Callow. The bald agent didn't scare him the same way.

But the boy went quiet when he felt those eyes on him again. Dobbs watched him and smiled, an expression that looked just wrong on his face. "Then perhaps you should educate us. Come and talk to us and tell us about this relationship you have with... Mr. Richardson." He said the name and glanced at the giant. "I'm sure you know that we have some opinions on your boyfriend. Maybe you can convince us that we're wrong."

Donie wasn't sure what to do. The thought of being able to talk to them and get to stop looking at his master as the suspect was appealing, but he was uncertain about talking to them. What if they tricked him? What if he let something slip out? He knew the truth. A mistake could hurt his master and make him angry.

Kendrick looked indifferent about the entire situation, just as bored as he did during his interview. He rolled his eyes and chuckled at both agents.

"You don't see him moving do you? You just sat here accusing him of being a pet and you're making judgments about him and his relationship with me. I wouldn't want to go with you either." Kendrick laughed at the agents knowing they were going to pull the boy from his arms. "Go on if you wanna go with them, babe." Kendrick added that little part just to flutter Donie's little heart.
