Donie stood up and took a deep breath. Master was giving him a chance. This was his last chance to prove he wasn't a threat. He didn't want to make master kill him, but if it kept his master safe, then he would let it happen.

Donie: I'll be there. The pouch will prevent another possession. It's the only way.

Hoping that was enough explanation to let Kendrick know where the real threat was, Donie tucked away his phone. He wasn't a threat to Kendrick, but things acting through him could be a threat.

Donie looked at Sarah. "I need to go. I need to prove to master that I'm not a threat. If...if you don't see me after today..." Donie stepped closer and hugged his friend. "Tell Danny that I've always loved you and him. You are my best friends. The best friends I could ever have. You both were the best. I love you both."

Sarah hugged him back tightly, she felt tears coming but held them back. "He won't kill you. I know it, don't forget I have a 97.2% reliability rate." She giggled kissing his cheek before seeing him out the door.

Kendrick put Connie to bed in an upstairs room. She was allowed to use Danny/Lori's bed being that they weren't there. The giant left to sneak back home and grab the pouch from his trash. He stood at the beginning of the wooded area looking at the pouch. He didn't feel anything coming from it but he wanted to stay vigilant.

He conjured his mother's power wrapping the baggie in a black protection ring. He did his best to keep it covered until he started to smell Donie.

The small boy stepped around a tree, looking nervous and bashful. He had a folder of papers and notes from Sarah's house in his hands. He didn't look up at Kendrick, he still felt ashamed of what he did to his master earlier and he was scared Kendrick was still angry at home.

There was a good amount of distance between Kendrick and Donie. The boy wanted to move closer, he wanted to run into his master's arms. But he needed Kendrick to believe he was safe before he would get close to him. Donie had been forced to bring the bag of weird stuff, Sarah didn't let him leave without it. But Donie left it far away in the woods, he didn't want to bring it near Kendrick.

"H-hi master," Donie whispered quietly. "I hope I didn't do anything harmful to you. Are you and Connie okay?"

Kendrick didn't say anything at first he threw the bag from before toward Donie. He didn't want to waste any time with random introductions and worthless conversations. This was the moment it all came down to, if Donie was a threat he would die right here and now.

"Get on with it, or get out of here" he growled changing into his tailypo form.

Holding the small leather pouch in his hand, Donie felt himself shaking as he finally saw his master fully transformed. It was a terrifying form, one he knew could easily dismember and kill him, but Donie wasn't afraid. He was ready to die, as long as it was by the one he loved.

Donie got down on his knees and laid down the folder. He opened it and started taking out papers and laying them out so Kendrick could see.

"I didn't harm you of my own will," the boy explained. "I was possessed. Someone forced a coin with the symbol of a voodoo god down my throat, then they used a summoning prayer to let him take control of me. They thought they were doing a good thing, helping you and your brother. But the summoner was tricked, lied to by the god."

Kendrick walked up to Donie slowly, he sat down a few feet from him. He sniffed the papers and could easily tell who the summoner was. Though he wanted to give Donie a chance to tell him the truth.

"Who?" He growled. "Who gave you these papers? Who told you all this?"

The scared boy wrapped his arms around himself. Part of him wanted to lie and say he didn't know, he wanted to protect his friend. But he couldn't lie to Kendrick. "It was... Sarah," he said quietly. It felt like such a betrayal. Kendrick would most likely go and kill her now if he thought she was a threat. "She was being lied to, master. She doesn't know any better. She... She wants to help you and your brother evolve...or something... Something about another tail?"
