"I'm not mad at you, Poom. I'm just surprised and a little confused," Beam said, handing Forth a glass of hot tea. He sat next to Forth, folding his legs cross-legged on the sofa facing Forth.
Forth followed Beam's movement so that now they were sitting opposite each other. His hand grabbed Beam's hand which was clenched above his thigh. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have hidden my true self to you." Forth squeezed Beam's hand gently. "But everything I feel for you is all true, Beam. I miss you like crazy when you're not around."
Beam smiled and squeezed back Forth's hand. "I'm scared," Beam muttered.
"What scares you? I never fight for no reason and never start a fight. I can turn down any challenge that's thrown at me, even when I need to face it, I still have plenty of subordinates I can ask in my stead. If that what you want, Beam."
"You want to do it for me?"
Forth nodded firmly. "Yes. I can be anything for you."
"You didn't even ask me why I don't like people who fight."
"You'll tell me without me asking, when you want and feel the need to."
"You always have reasons to fight, hm?"
"Yeah. The three people in the parking lot earlier too...."
"I know. I hear everything. I saw them approaching your motorbike when I was just parking the car. I got out of the car and intended to approach them to ask what they were doing. However, before I got there, you screamed and ran towards them. I was shocked."
"How did you know it was my bike?"
"I don't know. No one in my dorm has a motorbike like yours and your friends. I just thought the motorbike belonged to a dorm visitor and the three people wanted to steal it."
"That's dangerous, Beam. If they really are thieves, they'll hurt you for interfering with their attempted heist."
"I can do martial arts too, Poom. I'm a master of two kinds of martial arts."
"I know. You said it in front of my seniors and friends when you saved me from them." Forth grinned widely remembering the events of a few days ago.
Beam blushed like a tomato and took a deep breath. "Ah, that's so embarrassing. I... should probably apologize to them."
Forth laughed again. He lifted Beam's right hand and kissed his palm gently. "I'm sorry, Beam. I really love you and am ready to accept the consequences for not being honest with you about who I really am. But, I beg you, don't walk away from me or tell me to leave you. Please?"
"Why did you faint earlier?"
"I'm . . . hungry," Forth said with a laugh. "I forgot to eat since this afternoon. I'm too frantic and afraid I can't see you again until I don't feel hungry at all."
"You're so stupid! I just go to the beach, not to hell." Beam hit Forth's leg. He pointed to the pizza in the box. "Spend it."
Ford smiled. He'd already finished two big chunks since he woke up from his stupor and was in Beam's room.
Beam carried him on his back when he saw him fall in the parking lot. Beam also paid the dorm security guard who came to the parking lot after Beam called, with a guilty face for neglecting his duty, to secure Forth's motorbike to the private garage Beam had rented for his car.
"So your name is Forth Jaturapoom Jamorhnoom? That Jamorhnoom?" asked Beam, tilting his head.
Ford sighed. "That Jamorhnoom. But, like I said, I can be whatever you want. Don't mind the name."
"Then keep being Poom for me."
Forth's eyes lit up. He grabbed Beam's shoulder with both hands and pulled Beam towards him. "Am I forgiven?"
"No."
"But ...."
"What's there to forgive? You're innocent. Neither am I. It's just intrigue, not a mistake."
"Then, boyfriend?"
"No."
"But ...."
"You promised to give me a ring."
"Oh." Forth laughed and reached into his side pocket and pulled out a small black velvet box and opened it. A pair of beautifully engraved white gold rings were displayed in front of Beam.
Forth took one and put it on Beam's ring finger then he put the other on his own ring finger. "Then, boyfriends?" asked Forth again.
Beam didn't answer. He grabbed Forth's neck and planted a kiss on his lips. A kiss that then turned more intense when Forth decided to deepen the kiss. "Yes, Poom. Boyfriend."
