Chapter 24: The beggining

LISA'S POV

from the past few days, I felt Jennie comfortable and open with me, Sometimes she would often distance herself making me irritated

"Just say you want to be friends! nothing wrong with that.. right?" I mumbled and groaned, I laid back down in hopeless

How can I ask Jennie to start a friendship with me!? I mean like.. She acts cold with me.. distanced with me.. But for some reason she smiles back at me!

And her tone isn't cold anymore.. Ya know what? You can do this Lisa! Just ask her to be your friend and done!

But.. she is known to have just...3 friends.. BUT STILL!

"Lisa?" I heard Jennie called me, cutting my thoughts off

"A-ah! yeah?" I stuttered, she looked at me confused

"You ok?" She asked me, with and eye brow lifted

And there, She looks un-interested while asking me!! Ughh!

"Y-yeah, Iam" I said and smiled genuinely, she smiled back making my heart flip

why do I feel like this?..

"ahg.."I groaned as I felt my back ache again, I didn't get to sleep last night, and it's somehow connected to Jennie

"Are you sure you're ok?" She asked again this time she put down her pen staring at me, I smiled

"I'm fine Jennie, Just my back hurts from last night" I said,she frowned

"what.. last night?" She asked with stern tone

"I didn't get to sleep because my bed was broken" I made up an excuse, I mentally facepalmed myself for such a lame unreasonable excuse

She didn't respond, After a few seconds I heard her chair move so I looked at her, She stood up and started walking away from her desk

"Where are you going?" I asked her, She didn't reply

She got closer and closer to me, then walked pass me, I heard her steps stop then next thing I knew was

She was massaging my back, I internally blush

"J—" She cut me off

"Shut up." She said making me shut my lips close

She started grabbing my shoulders and going up and down, It felt good and I felt pain at the same time

"ah.." I groaned in pain when she hit the aching part

"Is this where it hurts?" She asked me I nodded, She continued massaging me, I'm not even gonna lie but She knows massage

"Does it hurt still?" She asked me, Her hands were already inside of my clothes, on the back of course, She was massaging my sides as well

"a bit" I said and bit my lips, She couldn't see me doing it anyway

"Hey Jen—" Someone yelled, me and Jennie flinched

I was about to remove her hands from my back when she tightened her hold on my sides

"what do you want?" She asked coldly to the person who just yelled her name

"I disturbed something.. I see" The person teased, making me blush, I don't even know why I did

"Just leave Jackson." Jennie sternly said that it even made me scared

I heard the door closed, Jennie's hands started to move again on my back

"ah.." I moaned when she rubbed both her thumbs on my back moving up and down

"I-I think its ok now.. you can stop" I said, She removed her hands on my back and started to sit beside me on the couch

Yes, I'm inside her office, We are still in hongkong and its been 6 days, I missed everyone

Jennie started leaning her head on my shoulder, I caress her back she didn't complain

"Lisa-yah.. I'm hungry" She pouted, I giggled at the sight

"Should I buy you food in the canteen?" I asked her she immediately frowned

"No! There are girls who are gonna flirt with you!" She complained, I nodded as she was right

"Let's order then?" this time she nodded, I grabbed my phone and started ordering

After a few minutes I was done deciding what to order and put back my phone on my side

"you sleepy?.." I asked her when I saw her yawn cutely

"mhm" She hum in response, She nodded

"rest, I'll wake you up when the foods arrive" I said, she mumbled a small thank you and closed her eyes

I caress her forehead to make her feel more comfortable, I smiled unconsciously

"I hope we could be friends Jen.." I mumbled not knowing she heard it

"We already are Lisa.." She said making my eyes widen but I didn't flinch

So I hurt my back for nothing?! I frowned mentally but I shrugged it off after a while

I hugged her sideways, I saw her lips lifting up a bit, forming a little smile making me contented

A new friend, a new beginning
