Chapter 35: Explaining Her death

JENNIE'S POV

Exactly 2 days ever since Lisa mention that her deceased twin sister had the same name as my Childhood Lover..

It's haunting me, what if.. Lisa is Yaying's.. Sister? The reason why Yaying left was because of her 'Sister'

Then the accident happened.. it was her All Her Sister's fault why She left me alone. It was all on her

Yaying told me that her Sister wanted her to visit her because they haven't met because her parents separated but got back eventually, but it only ended into tragedy.

Her sister wanted to meet Yaying because it would be the first time they saw each other

But.. Lisa said 'deceased' which means dead.. it couldn't possibly be Yaying right? I know She's still alive somewhere

But the name similarity.. their features.. it's all the same I.. I'm so lost I can't think straight

All this what ifs are haunting me, but whatever it is. I need to calm down. Now that I thought of it.. I actually never found any trace of Yaying ever since she left, the only thing I know was she was brought into another country.

"Nini!" I heard Lisa called me snapping me out of my thoughts, I immediately smiled and calmed down when I saw her

I don't know what you did to me Lisa. You make me feel things unexpectedly

"Lili!" I called her and smiled widely, I ran towards her then I immediately wrapped my arms around her and hugged her tightly, sniffing her scent

I miss you Lili

"What are you doing here Nini?" She asked me, I rolled my eyes at her

"Why? Am I not allowed to stay in your place?! Huh?! Do you not like my company?!" I yelled at her getting mad at what she said, um hello? Am I not allowed to stay with her?!

"I- what?! No no! That's not what I meant Nini, I was just asking cause I was gone for more than 4 hours I was wondering why you're here.." she explained I rolled my eyes yet again but sighed and nodded

"I came to visit you because I miss you" I said and hid my blushing face, I'm embarrassed obviously I would blush

"Aw.. I miss you too Nini, but why have you been gone for 2 days?" She asked me, I smiled

"Well, I'm currently working on a new project with Mr. Jeon, I'm sure you know him. Right?." I asked her coldly as I recalled what happen in their 'date night'

"Kookie?-" I cut her off with a yell

"KOOKIE?! SO YOUR CALLING HIM CUTE NICKNAMES NOW?! HUH?!" I yelled madly as I pushed her, she looked at me wide eyed

"What! No! Jennie!-" I cut her off once again

"Oh! SO It's JENNIE NOW AND NOT NINI?!" I yelled madly, as I felt I'm about to cry, which concerns me

I've never cried when I get mad, only when I get overly jealous, like when Yaying preferred to play with Jisoo Unni than me

"N-nini! Calm down! Please! Of course not! Him and I are friends only! H-he has a girlfriend! Please nini calm down.." she said, then went to closer to me hugging me tight kissing my forehead

Despite me literally crying a river, I felt a wave of relief when I heard Jeon had a girlfriend already, I thought he was gonna take Lisa away from me.

"I-I don't know if it's the right time to say but I have to go somewhere Nini.." She said, I looked at her confuse

"Hm? Where?" I asked her, she sighed and caress her head

"My sister's Tomb, today's her death anniversary" She sadly, my eyes widen a bit

"Oh I see.. mind if I come with you?" I asked her, she nodded

"Your parents won't mind right?" I asked her, she shake her head no

"No, they won't come anyway.. They never do." She said and smiled sadly

"What? Why?" I asked confuse and a bit guilty

"I don't know.. but they said they just don't want to, they aren't even sad about it" she explained almost mad but she remained calm

"Oh.. I'm sorry" I said feeling bad for her deceased sister and for her

"It's fine, let's go?" She said and smiled I nodded

CEMETERY

"There she is" Lisa said when she spotted her Sister's tomb, I nodded and went towards the tomb only to be shock, I froze she place flowers on her sister's tomb

P-pranpriya Y-yaying Brüschweiler?..

"L-Lisa..?" I called her name, she looked at me and tilted her head

Cute.. so- FOCUS!

"W-why is your Sister's name Brüschweiler? And not M-Manoban..?" I asked and gulped

Her name.. it's like my Yaying

"Well, my parents separated before us both were born, but they had to stick together to support my mom's needs and because of us. After we were born they decided to get each one of us, me to my mother and Yaying to my father, my mother registered my birth certificate and my father registered my sisters. Since they were divorced they decided to use their own last name, My mother was Manoban and my father was Brüschweiler."

"A few years late, I was probably 15-16 at that time, I found out my father and mother were back with each other and told me about my sister and stuff, I of course called my sister, first she wasn't really aware of me but she gave in and became my chat buddy, then after I called my sister saying she should come here and surprised my mother, it took a lot of begging on her part to force our father to come" she laughed and explained, I was admiring her beauty

But her words. They hit me, what if.. My Yaying is Her Yaying..?

"But.. then she had an accident that made her die, but fortunately my father survived and I was the reason behind her death, if only I didn't force her to come here then maybe I would have meet her in real life, I do have a picture of her" She explained everything. She wasn't crying but it looked like she wanted to

Fuck.. it hurts so bad and it's not even my sister

"Oh and did I mention? I had amnesia?"
