Chapter 7

Chap 7: The promise

Shiho unconsciously slept on Shinichi's shoulders during the way come back home. He slightly puts her on the bed and blankets for her, then he goes out and has an intention to come back home. Suddenly, a violent pain in his body makes him return back into Conan. After about 10 minutes, a sound "Ahh...Ahh" in Haibara's room, this pain is normal with Conan because he used antidote many times. However, Haibara just used this drug a few times so Conan run into Haibara's room as soon as possible. After which he pushes the door and get in, an image makes his face blush. He has to run quickly down the living room because he couldn't imagine the situation if Haibara knows that Conan was in her room while she was getting dressed

The next day.......

Conan is walking to Agasa's house with both joy and anxiety. He feed delighted because today, Conan, Haibara and children will go to a Tokyo stadium and watch the match between Tokyo Spirits and Big Osaka. However, Conan is also worry about last night's story. His face will blush like a tomato if he remembers that situation, this feeling is really different from he was by side Ran. Although Conan is used to take the shower with Ran, he just feels a little confused and let it pass through.

When Haibara see the image of Conan standing in front of the door, she quickly approaches and grasps his ears then dragging him into the lab. She looks at him with a source of hot energy: did you see anything last night? The pervert! Do you want me to put chili on your butt again?

Conan sweats a lot, he stutters: AHH...UMM I didn't m.e.a.n to s.ee it, I promise that I will be careful in the next time

Haibara glaze at him: The next time?

Conan continues to stutter: No! No! No! I mean I really sorry – he looks down but he doesn't know that Ai is giggling

Haibara returns back to the cold face when Conan raise his head: Uh...Uhh I am not a grumpy person so I will forgive this time.... But remember JUST THIS TIME. Now going out from my room and preparing for the match

Conan walks out of the lab with a happy face like a kid who just received candies while Ai is giggling because of that four-eyed detective's cuteness

Haibara's POV

Antidote APTX-4869 will complete in next few days, probably, today is the last day I have opportunity to play with detective children, enjoying a great day in this identity and specially, I am by side him so I have to enjoy today enthusiastically.

Before the match we have opportunity to go around the preparation area of soccer players. An unconscious way, I combine with Conan to explain involved knowledge to everyone. Although we are partners in distinct fields, we are rivals in the match between Big Osaka and Tokyo Spirits, Conan is a Fan of Endou's Shots in Tokyo Spirits while I am a big fan of Higo in Big Osaka.

Higo scored a fascinating goal, I thought that four-eyed detective will be uncomfortable and disappointed but he gives me a hat of Big Osaka and a sarcastic smile: Ne...ne I am sure that Endou will score 2 goals and win this match, don't be confident too much

I smirk and answer with a sarcastic voice: if Endou can score 2 goals, Higo will score a hat-trick, Higo will never give up!

Conan give a dangerous smile: do you dare to bet with me? If Tokyo Spirits win, you have to do a request of mine

I don't think too much, I just nod confidently: and if Big Osaka win, you have to buy a latest handbag of Fusae.

-Ok! Remember this contract! – he softly rubs my head and smiles playfully

A bullet-shaped look towards Conan: I remember I don't allow you to do this, take your hand away from my head. – today Conan dares to tease her, probably he doesn't want to live anymore.

Haibara is observing a person who has some strange actions: Ne...Edogawa-kun, is that person preparing bottles of water for soccer player? He is laughing wickedly and I remember that water for soccer players prepared as soon as the match started.

Conan approaches her closer and whisper: we have to leave from here and avoid the notice of children – Conan and Haibara slightly stand up and go to preparing area while professor and children pay attention to the match.

Haibara smirks with a challenge voice: do you want to investigate this case? Mr. detective. I will find ingredients in the bottle

Conan surprises: you can do it in here?

Haibara smiles and close her face to his ear and whisper: you think who am I?

After 30 minutes

Conan and Haibara come and meet the manager in Tokyo stadium.

Conan look at the manager and talk with a featured voice: you should recall that bottles, you know... J-league never appears situations which make the quality of tournament goes down.

The manager sweats but he tries to negate: what are you talking about?

Haibara put a bottle of water on the table and beginning analyze: in this bottle has macrogol which is a major ingredient of enema. Probably, you want Tokyo Spirits's players to drink those bottles of water and they cannot continue this match

Conan give the manager elements which he collected: I asked your peers and they said that you are in debt, I found some document about sell with the right of redeeming pawn in your room

As the result, the suspect has pleaded guilty

CASE CLOSED!

Conan smiles brightly after a significant case with his partner, specially, he is really delight because Tokyo Spirits won: ne...ne Haibara you must remember your promise, I haven't thought a request yet, I will talk it in an appropriate time.

Haibara expresses confusion: Ok! Ok! I'm reputable,

Conan smiles warmly: are you happy today?

Haibara smiles, a genuine smile: Oh...um today is not bad to me, anyway thanks for the tickets – this is the most beautiful memory with her. She can enjoy a great day with children who is her first friends without Black Organization, specially, today may be the last time Haibara and Conan can solve a case together.
