Shnelle tried to mask her annoyance and said "Hii Chris, Good morning everyone. " meekly. Everybody replied warmly to her and resumed to their talk. Shnelle while sitting on a couch looked at her watch which indicated that she was getting late for her work. She didn't want to be impolite so she kept sitting with them.
"F*CK OFF" a loud voice boomed suddenly which made everyone quiet. They looked around and saw Ace glaring at a trembling servant, who just made a small mistake of greeting his master unknown to the coming danger that he would be rewarded with.
"King " Richard spoke his name which caught Ace's attention towards them. He really wanted to torture this filth but his father's warning tone stopped him.
When Shnelle saw him coming towards them, she immediately turned back in order to leave but stopped on seeing Angelo looking at her with a frown. She awkwardly stood there.
"King let's leave for the airport we are getting late." Richard stated and turned to leave. He saw Shnelle standing in front of him unknowingly blocking his way. He softly said
" Dear, why are you standing? Let's go." which made her look at him in confusion.
"Where Mr King?" She couldn't help but ask.
"You don't know." He said with raised brows.
"Certainly not." Angelo commented which made Shnelle narrow her eyes at him.
"True and I don't intend to know." She replied back sharply.
Ruby sensed her foul mood so she calmly spoke " Shnelle sweetie, Ace is leaving for US ,so we are going to see o him off to the airport, where the jet is ready."
Shnelle gave her a nod of understanding and made a way for Richard to walk ahead, which made everyone shocked. Angelo caught Ace's longing eyes on her, who was unaware of it,asked "You're not coming?"
Shnelle didn't waste a second to reply " Absolutely not. I apologize but it's time to leave for my job."and for the third time moved towards the main door in order to go but
" Why?" Ace who was silent all this time voiced out. Shnelle now didn't try to hide her irritation and with sharpness fired back " Because it's none of my concern. Now I hope there is nothing to ask anymore." She said last line while looking at everyone especially Angelo, who now started to get on her nerves.
"But you're mine." Ace said softly while coming to her ,who stepped back.
"Aren't you?" He asked not at all bothered by her silence. Ruby came near Shnelle and gently put an arm around her shoulders which made her look at her. "Come sweetie, take a day off. I would talk to your boss,okay."
Shnelle didn't want to agree but can't say no to the woman, whom she started to feel close to. But ,Shnelle never learnt to give up that's why she didn't come in his car which left him furious.
As they were waiting for the captain, Ruby hugged Ace tightly and started crying while giving him the 'talk' which consist of eat your food on time,do not overwork, call her everyday and so on.
Which made home for many memories in Shnelle's mind. Richard too patted his shoulder in encouragement. Emily wished him a happy and safe journey.
Everyone deeply inside their heart waited for Shnelle's turn which never came as she stood there silently like a stone.
Captain came to them and said "Sir, the jet is ready to fly. We have checked it properly, all safe." to Ace but he didn't pay any heed to him. His entire focus was on her. Shnelle was eagerly waiting for him to leave so that she can feel some peace but our would be Don has some other plan.
Everyone eyed him moving to her when she was busy with herself. He caught her in a bone crushing hug. His arms were raked around her slim waist, her head on his beating heart and his face in the crook of her slender neck inhaling her fragrance, lips smoothly touching her skin. Everyone especially his friends present there were shocked to see his affectionate side which is a new experience for them. Shnelle who was irritated with him tried hard to push him but his hold only got tight in return. Ruby who could see her pain which pained her heart, she was in conflict whether to see her son happy with his love or to save this innocent soul from his cage of love. But when Shnelle's eyes met hers in a plead, her heart felt heavy, she walked towards them angrily and with force separated him from her and hid Shnelle behind her in a protective manner.
