Shnelle finally saw the lady's face. Her face was simply gorgeous, a clear oval shaped face complemented with high cheekbones, a greek nose like a cherry on the top and her enchanting foxy amethyst orbs.
Those eyes were currently on her. Shnelle wasn't an expert in reading a person's eyes deeply even then she could feel this stare,it's more of an observing,glaring, judging stare.
As if she was analyzing her every feature to make a perception about her. Honestly, Shnelle didn't feel comfortable in her presence.
First time Shnelle felt awkward on the dinner table in this mansion in all these years. It's always warm and homely. Ace and Richard's discussions while eating, Ruby and Emily and her's talking about anything sometimes about fashion trends, models, studies, friends or simply gossips.
Ace and Richard never thought it's necessary to join their deep senseless talks. But today,it's different. Although most of the people were same and known by her. There was a variety of vibes surrounding them.
Shnelle's conscious around three people first obviously Diana, second Ace's grandfather, Riccardo and third this girl.
The girl was brave. Even after getting caught by her she didn't avert her eyes. Her vibes were unique. They're powerful, courageous and dangerous. She seems like a lioness ready to pounce on her opponent.
Her claws are ready to slash the hearts and her mouth thirsty for metallic taste blood and yet she's elegant, courteous in her manners,polite in her words,just like a queen. She's like a female version of Ace, totally his style and maybe his type.
'Was she his girlfriend?
Seems so,from her actions of sitting so royally as if it's her mansion, her own place , her engaging in conversation with Diana and especially her eyes settling to her left where Ace's. If not, Ace wouldn't allow her to stay here.He doesn't like strangers to stay in his house.
Can she now be free from this marriage as his original lover is back?
Was she just a substitute?
Was his care,gentleness all fake,all acting?
Was she so easy to be played with?
During the whole dinner Shnelle didn't raise her head,neither utter a single word nor paid any heed to Ace, the girl or anybody. Her mood didn't get better even on Zander's and Emily's jokes.
After eating lunch,everyone retreated to their rooms. Shnelle went to her own room in place of Ace's.
Her thoughts were haywire. She's sensing extreme anger, irritation, hate, depression and disappointment.
Is this what one feels after getting used,after getting played with.
Thankfully she's not heartbroken as she didn't fall into the pit. A pit of love like many.
How can one play with a person's heart so easily for 6 years?
She closed her eyes to calm herself down and focus on her studies. It's peak time for her career. She can't let these selfish people affect her career goals.
After exams, she herself would leave him with his original 'Love'.
Finally she would be free from this forced marriage and forced contract. Maybe it's good that 'She' finally came back in this house and Ace's life.
