After the suicide of her best friend, Temi struggles with mourning and effectively healing. All the while, she's juggling a college career and an emotionally unavailable, politician-mom. As if things couldn't get worse, Temi's mom hires a bodyguard to watch over Temi while she grieves to prevent her from doing anything "stupid".
