Chris went rushing to me and helped me stand up. Pinahid niya ang kanyang kamay sa basa kong baba at saka ito tinitigan kung kaya't biglaan ko siyang naitulak palayo.
We were staring at each other for quite some time until a thought suddenly came. And it was a bad one.
"Doctor Maddison!" I called her name. I repeated for 3 times but to no avail. And it started to prove my conclusions.
"Babe." Chris called pero nanguna ang takot, diri, at inis ko.
"D-don't tell me that th--"
"Masarap daw siya eh." He cut me off and acted as if he was shy.
And that's when I felt this sudden surge of anger. I was about to push him when the main door went bursting open and revealed the old camper.
"Bitawan mo siya!" The old man pointed his' rake towards Chris.
