I was nervous about this plan. It was a risk between Light and I's friendship. If we still have that..

I was in my thoughts and I hear a thud. I quickly got up off my gaming chair and opened my door. Sounded like it came from Charli's room.
I see her door open. A gust of wind hits me. I look back and see Charli pulling Luca's arm as they ran downstairs. I was glad to see her happy with my brother. But now it was time to try this thing out.

Light was probably still in his room. That gave me more time to think about this so called plan. How do I start it? What would I say? What would we do together? That made this even more difficult.

I walk downstairs and see Jaxx and Sora on the couch.
"Hey." I start
"Morning." Sora replied.
"Have you two seen Alex?"
"I think she went out for a Starbucks run." Jaxx answered.
"Of course she did.." I whisper with a sarcastic laugh.
"She should be back soon."
"Oh alright, I'll be outside."
I walk over to the back door.

"Outside?" Sora questioned. He sat up and turned his head.
"You don't normally go outside for no reason.."
I look over at them.
"Yeah, something bothering you?" Jaxx asked.
I stay quiet for a few seconds.
"I just need some fresh air, and..some time to think."
"Oh alright.." Jaxx says. He turned his head around.
Sora just smiled and watched me walk out the door.

I sat on the swinging chair that was hung outside on the front porch. I panicked and overthought, Light could walk out that front door any second. It's either I nail it first try or I screw it up and this whole thing fails.

I heard the door open, my heart dropped.
"Hey Levi you good out here?" Jaxx asked as he opened the door and stuck his head out.
I was relieved it wasn't Light. I wasn't ready for him to be here.
"Yeah I'm good."
"Alright just checking in." He closed the door.

A car pulls up to the driveway, it was Alex. Her car turns off and she opens the door with her coffee.
"What are you doin' out here?" She asked as she walked closer to me.
"Relaxing..thinking." I reply.
She sat next to me.
"Y'know if you're not ready to do this then don't."
I stared at the ground and thought for a moment.
"I want to do this. I need to.."

We were silent.
Alex got up.
"Well, I'll leave you alone for now. If you need me," she pulled her phone out of her back pocket. "text me." She said as she showed me her phone.
I smiled at her as she walked away, opening the door.

5 minutes had passed and I was still outside. I wasn't even thinking about anyone or anything. I was just sitting there. Relaxing.

The door opened.
"Alright, cya." Light said. He was walking out the door.
My heart dropped. He closed the door and looked over at me. We stared at each other for a few seconds.
"Hey.." He said.
"Hey." I clear my throat.
Light walked closer.
"Do you mind if I..?" He said pointing to the empty space next to me.
"Y-yeah go ahead."

He sat down. This would make things more awkward.

"Listen.." I start. I spoke slowly.
Light looks over at me.
"I'm sorry. I don't know where our relationship is headed.."
I think this was my fault.
He looked away.
"When I kissed you, it felt..amazing. But it was wrong of me to do."
It felt good to get that out of me.

"Levi.." Light started, and I panicked.
"You're a great friend..you stick up for me, and..you make me feel special."
I felt a red tint on my face.
"And I love you."
I directly look at him.
Did I hear that right..?
"I just don't know how I feel.." He spoke.
I look ahead in silence.
"I understand.." I reply.

He checked his phone.
"Hey I gotta go.." He said.
"Alright.."
Before leaving he put his phone away and wrapped his arms around me. I was in shock but hugged him back. He gave me a warm smiled and walked off to his car. I watched him drive away and waved at him.

I got up and walked back inside the house.
Jaxx turns around.
"Did Light just leave?" He questions.
"Yeah, we had a conversation."
"Hm." He turned back around.

"Soo, how did it go?" Alex asks me, she whispered so the others couldn't hear. And had a smile on her face. She wrapped her arm around mine.
We walked upstairs.
"It went good..I guess?" I say with a nervous laugh.
"Tell me everything!"
I giggled. We walked into my room.
I sat down on my gaming chair and Alex sat down at the end of my bed.
"So?" She asked. She sounded eager to know it all.

"I guess you could say...it was a success."
