Yesterday was super chaotic. I wonder if he's ok...
I continue to eat my breakfast when suddenly my phone starts ringing.

"Hello?" I say as I pick up

"ANNIE PLEASE COME OVER QUICK HURRY ITS MY DAD. I CALLED THE AMBULANCE THEY'RE ON THEIR WAY" she says hysterically

"OMG ILL BE RIGHT THERE"

*I quickly hang up*

"Mom I- I have to go somethings wrong with Jenny's dad!" I yell from downstairs

*no response*

I run out the house and quickly head over to Jenny's house

When I get there the door is opened and there's an ambulance outside

"Jenny?!" I yell as I run inside

"Annie?" I see her and other paramedics come from her dad's room

she runs to hug me and I hug her back

"I'll explain to you at the hospital"

"ok, ok. which hospital are they taking him too?"

"Bayville" she says halfway out the door

I watch her get inside the ambulance with her dad and I head over to the hospital. I had to take my mom's car by the way...
Bayville isn't that far from her house. It's like a 5 minute drive, so I arrive there quick.

I park the car around the block and run inside the hospital

"John, Where's John's room?" I say to the lady panicking

"Sweetie calm down. Take a second to breathe. Now tell me John who?"the nurse says calmly

"John- uh John Kingston"

"he just got here they're taking him to the ER, you can wait in the waiting room down the hall"

I need answers, where's Jenny. I feel so anxious, as I walk over to the waiting room, all I can hear are people talking, babies crying but somehow I tune it all out and take a seat. I'm just so worried for her and I want to hug her so she knows i'm here for her but everything around me just, it's just turning into a blur and every voice is muffled.

"Annie?! Annie?"

The voice suddenly becomes clear.

"Jenny! omg! What happened? What's wrong? How is he? Is he ok? What are they doing to him?"

"He- I don't know. I was in his room to let him know I was going off to school but he just couldn't breathe" she broke down crying again

"T- The paramedics didn't say much they just took me and him in the ambulance and I know nothing. I don't even know what's going on in that ER"

I hug her tightly as she cries into my shoulder "I'm so sorry Jen. I won't go to school to stay here with you."

"No, No. You can't miss school Ann."

"That's nonsense at a time like this you mustn't be left alone. I'm going to stay as long as I have to."

this time she hugs me;

"Thank you Ann. I love you"

"I love you too"

we take a seat waiting anxiously for any news of how her dad is doing

Jenny is asleep, her head leaning on my shoulder. She was crying for quite a bit. We couldn't do anything but wait...
