Pain

Pain is what i feel now

I know i hurt her real bad

I know i did

During school time, we act like total strangers but i can see that she is still hurt

On prom night, i didn't even bother going and i know she did not either

I mean, what's the point in going anyways

The day after i rejected her, Peter came threatening me that if anything was to happen to Emily, that he would make me suffer

He said my greediness is causing both Emily and I pain and i deserve it but Emily doesn't

School has been hell for me because i kept seeing her face and it pains me each day seeing her so numb

During classes i can't get my eyes off her

I try but just end up failing

"Ender, Emily, can you both please wait behind after this class" My father said towards the end of Physics class

Once the class ended, I and Emily waited behind while the rest went out of the class for lunch break

"Can you two please come forward" My father said once he was sure that every student was gone

Emily and I slowly walked to the front of the class until we got to where he was

"Hi Emily" My dad said slightly waving

"Hi Mr. Edwards" She said clutching her bag

"Call me Levi" My dad said and she just nodded

Wow someone's being nice... I mean my dad

"Look Emily, Ender rejecting you was not his fault, he had no choice... Please understand" My dad said leaning on his desk

"I understand sir and trust me I'm not angry at him... I'm just hurt" She said looking down

"How has your training section been going" My dad decided to change the topic and i think it worked because she snapped her head towards my dad's direction

"Oh, i don't have a coach so I find it hard to train... I only do it whenever my brother is free" Emily finally said after some seconds

"You can train with us you know"My dad offered

"No sir, i don't think that's a great idea-"

"Come on, it would be fun"My dad said grinning

He really has a way of convincing people

"I'll think about it"

And i guess it worked on her too

"On one condition" she added

Condition? What condition? Why can you just say yes?

"If you can order your men to help the werewolves of our kingdom" She said looking at me

How i miss her the feeling of her eyes on me

"Why? What's wrong?" My dad asked snapping me out of my daydream

"There is a war going on between werewolves of the four kingdom" she said still looking at me

I'm guessing she likes what she sees

"We spoke to the other werewolves and vampires of our kingdom and they agreed to make a treaty with us since in other kingdom the two packs and clans present are helping each other" She added
