On the way home Harrison spoke, "Well..."

I looked at him, "What?"

He smiled, "How do you like them?"

I smiled, "I love them. They really are amazing."

He said, "They love you. I can tell."

Once we reached home, we changed into some comfortable clothes then laid in Harrison's bed watching a movie and talking about random things.

I looked at Harrison, "Where do we go from here?"

He looked at me confused, "What do you mean?"

I looked down, "Like you have one more game here then you're onto the next place? What does this mean for us?"

He lifted my chin up, so that I was looking at him, "Everything is going to be okay Kai, nothing is going to change. We will talk every day, and when you don't have stuff going on then you can always join me on the road and at home in St. Louis."

I smiled, "Promise?"

He nodded, and kissed my forehead, "Yes of course. If we both put in the work, we can make it work. Everything is going to be just fine."

I smiled, "Thank you for reassuring me. I just keep getting these thoughts that maybe I'm just way in over my head for thinking that this could actually work."

He pulled me closer, "You have nothing to worry about Kai. I promise you that. You and I will get through this, and it will all be worth it in the end. We are going to come out of this stronger than before."

I smiled, "You're right I don't have anything to worry about. But this time away from you will give me a break from you which I really need because I'm starting to get tired of you," I giggled teasing him.

He gasped, "Oh that's it," then he started tickling me.

I screamed, trying to wiggle out from under him, "Stoppp. Please."

Harrison kept tickling me and laughing, "Nope not going to happen until you apologize."

I laughed, "Ok ok ok ok. Fine. I'm sorry for being mean."

He stopped, but still had me pinned to the bed, then he leaned down kissing me. Then one thing lead to another and the next thing I know we are laying side by side catching our breath.

I smiled, looking over at Harrison, "I am definitely going to miss that."

He smirked, "Oh really?"

I bit my lip, and nodded, "Yeah definitely."

He smiled, "I guess I will miss it too."

I gave him a look, "You guess??"

He laughed, "I'm just kidding babe. Of course I will miss this and everything else about you."

I kissed his cheek, "You're too sweet."

He pulled me close, "I don't wanna leave you."

I frowned, "Me either, but we have to bub."

He kissed my head and ran his fingers through my hair, and I soon fell asleep.

The next morning, I woke up before Harrison so I decided to make him a nice breakfast.

While I was cooking, I felt two arms wrap around my waist and I smiled, as he kissed my neck, "Good morning bub."

He smiled, "Good morning. How did you sleep?"

I smiled, "Really good actually. How did you sleep?"

He spoke, "I slept really good too. I think it's because I had you laying in bed with me."

I smiled, "Oh really?"

He nodded, "Yes ma'am. Are you coming to my game today?"

I nodded, "I wouldn't miss it for the world."

He smiled, "You are literally the best. How the hell did I get so lucky?"

I giggled and shrugged, "I don't know. I ask myself the same thing."

He smiled, "Are you going to stay here while I am gone, or are you going to stay at your place?"

I shrugged, "I will probably end up being here most of the time just because I miss you, and because I want to steal your clothes."

He laughed, "I should've known that was why you wanted to stay here."

I smiled, "Yep. I have access to everything that you don't take with you."

He laughed, "On second thought, I don't know if I want you to stay here..."

I smiled and laughed, "Well, that's too late because I'm staying here."

He smiled, "Okay but just try not to take all my clothes please."

I giggled, "We will see about that. No promises though."

He laughed, shaking his head at me, "What am I going to do with you?"

I giggled and shrugged, "I don't know but you are stuck with me, and I'm not ever letting you go."

He smiled, and kissed my cheek, "Good because you're stuck with me."

I smiled, and I put the eggs I had made on a plate for Harrison, along with some bacon and sausage.

He smiled, "You're seriously the sweetest ever."

I smiled, "I gotta make sure my boy is well fed for his big game today."

He smiled, as he started eating, "This is so good Kai. Thank you so much."

I smiled, "Of course. I'm glad you like it."

After he finished eating, we decided to cuddle a little bit before had to start getting ready.

After I finished getting ready, we headed to the stadium. It made me sad knowing he would be leaving after this game. I wasn't ready to say goodbye yet. I made my way to the girls as he made his way to the locker room.

When I made it to our seats, I took a seat next to Kristen. She smiled, "Hey girly, how are things going with Harrison?"

I smiled, "He really is amazing, and I really think that things are actually going to go somewhere between us. In just the short time that I have gotten to know him, it just feels like I have known him forever. We just are so comfortable around each other and we just fit so well together. But honestly I am a little worried about how things are going to go with both of us being so busy and on the road all the time."

She nodded, "Yeah the distance can be hard, but it will all be worth it I promise. What's meant to be will be, and you guys will make it through this."

I smiled, "Thanks K. I just feel so happy with him. He just makes me feel so at ease. His family is so great too."

She smiled, "I'm so happy for you Kai. You really deserve this."

Harrison had a rough night at the plate, so I knew he would be upset. He had not gotten on base at all tonight which I knew was frustrating. I could just tell he was upset. I was standing outside the locker room waiting for Harrison, and when he came out the frown on his face turned to a smile when he saw me standing there waiting for him.

I smiled, "Did you think I would leave without saying goodbye?"

He smiled immediately pulling me into a hug, "I'm so glad you waited. I'm not ready to let you go yet. I thought maybe you would have left by now."

I shook my head, "Nope I wasn't going anywhere without seeing my boy. I'm not ready for you to leave."

He kissed the top of my head, "I know I'm not ready to leave either,  but unfortunately I have to. You can always come visit me whenever you want."

I smiled, "I will have to take you up on that offer."

He smiled, "Good I was hoping you would. But I really need to get going baby."

I frowned, "I know you do. I just hate saying goodbye."

He frowned, "Yeah I know me too. Just think of it as a see you later."

I smiled as he pressed a kiss to my lips one last time before he had to leave.
