Quinn hughes - Vancouver canucks

I just started my first year of university, I'm going to university of Michigan. I was born and raised in Toronto. I'm going to be honest with you, I had a good family, really good life but, i didn't have many friends, the only friends I had were my mom best friend son's, Quinn, Jack and Luke. But I lost contact with them when my parents divorced and I left with my dad to Michigan, those were dark time for me but Quinn was with me through it all, we're the same age so I was closer to him, I regret not keeping contact with them but I knew that I wouldn't be able to move on with my life in Michigan if I kept taking to them, I wanted to make new friends.

It's been five years since I last talked to them, I heard that Quinn is going to be in this years nhl drafts and that he might be chossen in the first round. I finally got out of my thoughts when I bumped into someone.

-hey y/n!

- f/n! I didn't know you were attending here?

F/n was one of my first friends I made in Michigan but she had to move with her family for her father's work

-yeah, it's really nice to see you again. F/n said before taking my hand and dragging me into the school.

-hmm do you know where you're going? I asked

-no. But we'll find are way around together. She said turning around with a big smile on her face.

- F/n watch out!

And before I knew it she ran into a boy, fell backwards and knocked me down with her.

-Are you guys okay? The boy said

-Yeah we are,thanks for asking. Me and F/n said while getting up

-Wait a minute... are you y/n L/n

Are there already rumors going around about me? I've only been here 10 minutes

-Yeah, that's me... I said scared of what he's going to say

-Y/n it's me, Quinn, Quinn Hughes

-Quinn! Omg it's so nice to see you, you changed a lot. I said really happy to see him.

-It has been five years, hmm is your friend okay, she seems red

I turned around to see f/n red like a tomato, I knew it was because of the fall, she landed face first.

-yeah she'll be fine, she's one of the toughest people I know. I said while the bell ringed

- well that my bell, I'll see you around campus, Quinn said with I smile

- bye Quinn. With that he left

I looked back at f/n and she had the biggest smirk on her face

- so that's the famous Quinn hughes I heard all about in highschool school

- yeah it is

- why did you stop talking to him girl

- I just knew I wouldn't be able to do long distance with we did ended up dating later on

- well girl, you guys are in the same state so shoot your chance

- did you hear what he said, it's been five years since we last saw each other, he probably lost the feelings he had for me

- feelings don't go away that easily

- okay can we juste go to class before we're late? I asked

- wait that was are bell too?

- hmm yeah

And with that he restarted walking around campus trying to find the class where all freshman are supposed to meet

~Quinn's pov~

I never thought i would see y/n. Why did she stop talking to us? Why did she had to leave the day I was going to confess my feeling for hey.I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't hear the teacher calling my name.

-Hughes!

- yes mister blue -> i don't know what to call him. I said snaping out of my thoughts.

- do you know the answer to number 3?

- no sir...

- pay attention to class Hughes or you can forget about your hockey career.

- yes sir... I said angry and sad at what he said

I can't keep getting lost in my thoughts, I need anwser to my questions

~y/n pov~

God that was really boring, it's like the first day of middle school when you have to introduce yourself, I thought university was going to be different. I was walking to my dorm room with f/n when I saw Quinn at are door knocking.

-hey Quinn what are you doing

- hey y/n, can we ate lunch together, I have some questions that need some answers. He said nicely.
- yeah sure did you have a place in mind?

- Maybe, it's on campus if you don't mind

- well let's go, I said while giving the keys to f/n

~10 minutes later~

It's been atleast 5 minutes since we got to the place, it's was under a tree, and surprisingly enough there was no one around us, it was just pure silence until Quinn spoke up

- why did you leave, why did you stop talking to us

-hey! Calm down, one question at the time. I said cutting him off

- first of all, il left because my dad won custody over me and since he had more family in Michigan we decided to move there. And I stop talking to you guys...because

-because? He said trying to make me finish my sentence

- because I knew you like me and i like you too and I knew I wouldn't be able to do long distance. So I decided to stop talking to you guys to try and make some new friends in Michigan.

- how did you know I liked you, I never told you, you left the day I was going to ask you out. He said with blush on his face

- Luke and Jack told me.

- they are so gonna pay.

- is there any chance we can start over?

- well if you still have feelings for me, we can maybe go on a date and get to re know each other.

- yeah that would be great.
