THE VEHICLE THAT holds the family of five finally arrive at what looks to be an old military base. Everything appears to be old and filthy, abandoned from any living being. Many metal canisters can be scattered around the area, along with tall structures that are covered by a thin white material. Dust and mud have settled upon the metals and fabrics after it was all kept untouched for ages.
The car rolls to a stop at this very location. Alexei is quick to swing his side of the door open and walk around the vehicle to open the trunk so that he can grab the guns. Melina begins to usher the three girls out of the car in order to get moving as soon as they possibly can, wanting to be fast. Natasha quickly leans forwards between the two front seats and pops open a part of the car. She grabs the polaroid photo of herself and her sisters, stashing it inside of her pocket so that it's kept safe.
Clover stumbles out of the car and follows the rest of her family over to a plane that's been revealed from beneath one of the white covers. But the girl hardly gets time to inspect the aircraft, knowing that she can't let curiosity get the best of her. Melina then helps each one of the three sisters inside of the plane where she buckles them into the seats. Alexei just continues to linger outside to ensure everything will go according to plan, needing to know it's safe.
"Why isn't Dad in the plane?" Natasha asks.
"He's coming, baby." Melina replies.
From outside of the aircraft, Alexei proceeds to slip his hands underneath a metal container. He uses his advanced strength to lift the heavy object off of the ground, which he then moves out of the way. This allows Melina to start driving the plane out of the structure that it was contained in so that it's able to be out in the open. As well as that, it gives them a chance to can drive down the runway and take off into the air like they plan to.
Police sirens whir from in the distance, but appear to be travelling closer by the second. Flashing red and blue lights can be seen peaking through the row of trees that line around the area, keeping it slightly hidden from the public. Then, all of a sudden, police cars burst through the openings and start to speed through the fires to reach the family of five.
Melina chooses to ignore what is happening, continuing to drive the plane down the makeshift runway. They need to get out of the area as soon as possible, so stopping for the police (who will just arrest them) will do no good for the family. Alexei starts to fire bullets at each of the vehicles in a desperate attempt to protect his loved ones. But the father begins to chase after the plane at the same time so that he's able to remain level, needing to stay beside them all.
