tws: implied toxic relationships

i was cut off from the computer today
and i had so much to tell you too;
i wanted to tell you that i know you're having a rough day,
and that i love you, and that i miss you. and that i'd always be here for you.
even though i can't get the computer and i respond days after, i try.
i do.
and i wanted to tell you everything that happened this week,
i wanted to talk about how it's my friend's birthday tomorrow
and the little dancers that are the mice this year scare me
and the absolute horror that was homecoming.
and you would laugh with me, and even though
we're both talking about our little separate hells, it feels connected.
and when i finally got it
my hands raise just above the computer
hello :D and i wait
i waited for you. talked to other friends, smiled, told them about it,
left our chat open just in case.
anticipation is a wonderful thing.
i have so much to tell you.
reply soon. maybe?
but when you replied,
hours later,
all i got was i don't care.
