there is a language without the word love

without it, what am i to write about?
what will keep me going?
i have so much appreciation for the world
but appreciation is not enough.

yes, i appreciate you.
but that is not enough.

in a world without the word love, i say -

i would watch your smile forever, but i will watch the moon until i can see you again. there is a simple consistency of us that i cannot find with anyone else. can i hold your hand? do you want some tea? i am tired often; thank you for not asking for anything more. thank you for asking about my day. thank you for noticing the way i type. you are everything i wish for. how did you not know i write about you? where are you? i want to be mundane with you; it's not a mundane existence with you in it. i like chai tea when you i am looking for a sense of home, but with you i wouldn't ever touch chai tea again.

i love you, i say in this world. i love you.

isn't it a wonderful thought to think, then,
that if there is a world without the world love,
there is a world with a word that means more than love?
