As the young girl became aware of her consciousness returning, she leaped off of the bench and opened her eyes wide, catapulting herself across the dirty floor ready for a fight. She cringed as she felt how cold it was, her kind having unnaturally temperature sensitive skin.

Once she realized the only deadly thing in the cell was her, she relaxed and sat on the bench. She sighed deeply as her skin hit the cold durasteel.

"Well, any bright ideas left girl?" She, in fact, did not have any of those. But, what remained unknown to her still was that this wasn't her first attempt at escape. She's had a few bright ideas, but she just couldn't come up with them anymore.

She heard chattering outside of her cell. The instant recognition of the annoying B1 battle droids stupid voice caused her face to light up with the brilliant spark of an idea. She got up and ran over to where the door was.

"Hey!" She yelled. The metallic clanging as the battle droids rhythmically marched came to an abrupt pause in front of her door. She grinned from ear to ear.

"Quiet down in—"

"Help me! I'm bleeding! I think I'm... I'm..." she jumped with all her might onto the ground to make the sound of a body thudding.

"Back up! We are coming in!" Oh, she backed up all right. She hid on the wall the door was attached to. As soon as it opened she launched herself at them, kicking both of the droids in the middle sections, her feet tearing through their bodies as she landed her feet against the other side of the wall. She dropped the pole attached to the door she let out a heavy breath she was keeping in while hoisting herself horizontally like that.

She took off in a mad sprint down the hall, that is until she came across a girl who looked like her sitting on the bench.

They weren't identical, but emotionally speaking, she felt connected to the fellow colorful skinned, humanoid girl.

But she didn't have time for sentimental feelings session, or the energy. So, she kept running at a slower pace. Every second she was sprinting for the only thing she could think about was turning back to free the girl in the cell, but her legs refused to switch directions because her brain knew what was best.

She was coming up on the ray shields. The girl surprised herself and intuitively aimed her blaster at the ceiling and shot the camera attached to the archway above the intersection. She recoiled, not knowing why or how she knew to do that. Thinking it was just her incredible instincts, she dropped the gun and approached the ray shields, completely disarming them.

She could hear another squad of battle droids approaching, she she squinted at the panel of colorful wires, all of which she had no clue as to what their function could be. In a moment of bravery, (and mild uncaring of what happened to her at this point) she ripped every wire in the panel out.

The ray shields short circuited and she ran for the exit. A victorious grin slowly reached her face, but as she looked across from her she discovered it was meaningless as who stood in front of her could not be beaten.

"Oh, great. You again." The sound of his red light saber being ignited did not put her at ease.

"Any chance I can get a running start this time?" She asked jokingly, hoping to possibly see any hint of emotion, whether it was annoyance or the opposite, bite there was only coldness.

"I feel a congratulations is in order, Lyra. You're the first to even come close to triumph. But I'm afraid there's one more step on your path to victory." Lyra, took his words with a grain of salt.

"Right." She said slowly, but when she took off back the way she came from towards the deactivated ray shields, she had never before ran at a faster speed. She reconnected all the wires with one hand and reached out her other hand for the blaster to come to her. The ray shields twitched as he drew ever closer. Finally the ray shields switched on for good.
