Veronika POV

My class had ended and I was  walking back to my dorm when I heard a familiar voice

"Hey," it was Damon. He had a beautiful smile

"Oh, hi" I said as we kept strolling

"So I've been thinking about what happened last night" he stuck his hands in his back pocket.

"Uh- What happened last night?" I knew he was talking about the kiss we shared last night but I somehow felt embarrassed to talk about it

"I was thinking about the kiss" he admitted with a chuckle "so what do you think about it?"

"I-" as I was about to answer his question both our phone buzzed. We got the same message and it was Riley telling us to get to Dave's dorm now. It seemed really urgent so we rushed there without a second thought

Everyone was gathered in Dave's dorm when Damon and I arrived. Their look was strange, something definitely happened

"Good, Nikki is here" Riley said as soon as she saw me walk in

"What's going on now?" Damon voiced out the question at the back of my mind. I was wondering what had happened this time but the looks on everyone faces hinted that it wasn't good

"Sophie got abducted" Jason said coldly

"We have to find her" Dave spoke. I haven't seen him since the incident when he was carried away to the hospital. He looked worried as hell as he ran his hands through his brownish hair

"We are going to find her Dave" I tried to assure but deep down I didn't know what to think. This was another sick twisted game set by a crazy psycho we have Never won before so i wasn't feeling very confident. I was scared of failing again. The sound of my phone ringing snapped me out of my thoughts. I picked up the unknown call

"Where is she?" I questioned not wanting to waste any time

"That's no way to say hello Veronika" he responded. Everyone stared at me in silence

"I'm not in the mood for your chit chats. Just tell me where's Sophie?" I retorted

"Since you asked nicely I'll tell you this" it laughed sickish "I hid Sophie at the abandoned mill factory. She has only one hour before she dies" I heard another laugh again from the other side which made my skin crawl. My phone was snatched away by Dave

"If you dare hurt her I'm going to kill you" Dave threat only made it burst out in laughter

"As much as I would  like to slit open her throat I won't, why? Cause I'm so tired of having all the fun now I want to see someone else do it for me. The clocks ticking" the line got disconnected with a laugh. It said it wants us to kill, none of us is capable of doing that

"What are we waiting for, let's go" Scott said getting up

"No you can't come, your still drunk and its dangerous" Jason warned Scott

"I have to go for Sophie she is more than a dorm mate to me" Scott said

"I won't let you go in your drunken state" Jason spoke. It was nice to see how he cared for his friends

"Stop worrying so much. I'm going with y'all and you can't stop me" he was dead set on going

"Ugghh fine, arguing with you is pointless" Jason sighed in defeat "lets go I'm driving" Jason headed out

Jason drove us in his car. The drive took about twenty minutes to get to the old mill factory, right now we had almost thirty minutes remaining. We decided to split up into three groups in order to find Sophie quicker. Gabe and Scott were together, Riley chose to go with Jason while Damon, Dave and I were to search together. We all quickly went different ways in search for Sophie
