Ch. 9 - Aftermath

I'm back with another chapter!! Unfortunately, I'm too busy to draw, so no Nozomi pic :(

Anyway, for the following chapters, it looks like I would just post it without any drawing cuz...I almost died from piles of assignments (help)

Nozomi shots her eyes open at the sounds of students chattering

She jolts her back in panic, her face still plasters with horror

"Wha-"

Hearing Nozomi voice, her classmates, mostly Midoriya, Uraraka, and Bakusquad rush toward her

Mina jumps at her, hugging her tightly as she bawls her eyes out. Nozomi is still confused but decides to lower her guard when she sees everyone

"Kaneko!! I was worried sick that you wouldn't wake up!! " Midoriya said, sudden relief rushes on his face

"Kaneko, I heard it from Denki. The way you take the last blow was so manly! "

" Seriously, I think you had died back there"

"Wait, wait, wait" Nozomi's mind is still blurry and she can't process what just happen. Her friends give her some space and apologize

Nozomi takes a deep breath. She's already outside of the USJ, pro heroes gather around the campus, and she could see the medics team and police on the sideline

This could only mean one thing. They survived the ambush. Nozomi is not sure how she and her classmates survive from all this chaos, but right now she definitely needs rest and her pillow. Her head throbs like crazy that she thinks it may explode, and her body is screaming in pain

"What about the villains!? How is everyone? What happened to that creepy masked villain from the mountain area!? " She questions her classmates

"The pro heroes come at the last minute, we have caught most of them, but the main attacker managed to escape, as for everyone they are fine, except for Mr. Aizawa but recovery girl had attended to him" Uraraka answered her

"The creepy black suits villain managed to get away after your last attack, but you had screwed her up though," Kaminari said

Her friends then tell her everything that had happened. They start from how All Might fought a monster called Nomu and about their friends were scattered around USJ

Hearing there is no casualties besides her, Midoriya, and Mr. Aizawa makes her washes in relief

Nozomi is now on her way to the train station

Ouch, cursed quirk side effect

She should have listened to recovery girl and took a taxi home. But no, she was so stubborn and think that she was fine. Now she regrets saying no

She feels like she could pass out anytime soon. Her body protests, aching in pain. She keeps rubbing her tissues toward her nose, wiping down the blood. The blinding lights from street light isn't help her with her headache

After the whole tragedy in USJ, she keeps blaming herself

If she was stronger she could have caught the villain. Now they have psychos roaming around the streets, and worse, that psycho know her personally
