Ch. 15 - Nozomi vs Bakugo

The following stage simply passed by. The battle between Midoriya and Todoroki was a nightmare to watch.

Every second, Nozomi fears that Midoriya would break another bone, which he gladly do anyway. The fight was won by Todoroki. As for Midoriya, he passed out outside the bounds.

The next round between Iida and the vine girl Shiozaki, or at least, that what Nozomi assumed her name was, was also won by Iida. Shiozaki stood no chance against Iida's maneuver. Iida was floored a recipro burst the second midnight shout of the sign. Grabbing Shiozaki's back and tossing her out of bounds

Next is her battle with Tokoyami. Of course, she passed the next stage with flying colors. After the battle trial, she was well aware of Tokoyami's weaknesses, and she would use them to her advantage.

Tokoyami was cornered by Nozomi fireballs and firewall, leaving no room for dark shadow to move. Tokoyami then decided to fight her on hand on hand combat, but unfortunately, it was too late. He is standing at the corner of the arena, one little push and he is out

While she felt sorry for Tokoyami, she still needed to win this match anyway. There is no place for piety. They are on their own, and besides, in a life-threatening situation, heroes are usually the ones on the losing end. Most villains are already aware of their abilities, quirks, or weaknesses. Nozomi couldn't blame them. Being a hero is the same as being a celebrity. Everyone would know everything, even down to the smallest little detail. Forgot about weaknesses and all, she even found a specially made TV channel focusing on gossips around the world of the heroes

So she does what she was supposed to do. She flings a small air burst with another round of flame walls to make sure that Tokoyami couldn't use his dark shadow. She pushes Tokoyami out of bounds, resulting in her victory.

The audience erupted into another round of cheers as she won the match. Nozomi quickly flew down the arena. She approaches Tokoyami, who is still quite confused about what happened.

"You okay?" Nozomi reaches out her hand toward Tokoyami. Tokoyami gladly accepted her offer. He pulled Nozomi's hand, standing up from his position.

Yeah, I suppose I still need to train my dark shadow more before I can finally beat you, "Tokoyami says, still with all of his gloomy aura around him.

Don't worry too much about it. I think you just had bad luck to be matched up with me." Nozomi tried to cheer him up before she realized how wrong that sounded.

Thankfully, Tokoyami didn't think otherwise and just nodded at her, leaving the arena.

"Kaneko!! You are so cool out there! Did you see how she beat Tokoyami's ass!? " Mina is shouting from the seats, chocking and throwing some punches toward Kaminari on the way. Nozomi just laugh at her friend's antics, Sero gives her thumbs up while Kaminari was still trying to release himself from the death flag named Ashido Mina

Nozomi scanned the seats; their usual red-haired boy was nowhere to be seen.

"Where is Kirishima?" Nozomi asked dumbfoundedly

Sero points his finger at the arena. She turns her head toward the heated arm wrestling competition below her.

Kirishima won!! The next battle is Kirishima vs Bakugou. " Midnight shouts enthusiastically from the arena.

"Ah" Now that she thinks about it, she didn't see any angry blonde around her. Which is why it's more quiet than usual.

"This will be another bloody battle," Nozomi grumbled, while Sero and Kaminari nodded.

"I hope my dude wins. I bet 5 bucks that Eijiro would win," Kaminari said as his smirk grew larger.

"You sure want to bet on your friends like that?" Nozomi gives Kaminari a distasteful frown.
