"Dragons? As in like...hybridized dragons like us?"

Rosani shakes her head. "No, actual authentic dragons, before the kingdom fell, our father had Harvey looking into the dragons. For decades our people have been trying to find the way back to the End, it was our job to look after the dragons, the Enderdragons. Well, as it turns out, Harvey found a legend about a batch of dragons eggs resting  in the End." Ty's eyes widen slightly, he knows just how important the End dimension is to his people, after all, it is the dimension where the dragonmeres hail from. And dragons are seen as sacred creatures to dragonmeres but were thought to have died off after the dragonmeres left the End.

Ian tilted his head in confusion. "Wait, but it's been 200 years, wouldn't the eggs have died by now?"

Rosani smiled and shook her head. "No, dragon eggs can live for thousands of years and still be fresh. If the legend is true, those eggs are still alive today and are waiting to be found, Harvey must be finally going after the legend. He must have found the portal to the End Dimension, he found the Stronghold, a structure that was lost to time centuries ago!" It wasn't hard to admit that this news excited everyone and it would change things if Seto is successful in retrieving the eggs.

"Do you think Seto will find the eggs?" Quentin asked.

Rosani crossed her arms. "Oh I do not doubt that Harvey will find them, he's not easily swayed when he sets his mind on a path. And besides, he promised Former King Glyenn, my father, that he would retrieve the eggs and care for the hatchlings. His stubbornness is going to come in handy."

Ian loses his smile, not liking that last sentence. "Why is that?"

Ty sighed and looked at Ian. "Seto is stubborn, relentless even, but the End dimension is dangerous. It was cut off from this dimension after my people migrated here, leaving a race that had depended on dragonmeres for survival...there are legends that the people who were left behind have turned savage...if Seto isn't careful, he could get himself killed."

Mitch smiled a bit. "He knew what he was walking into, guys, Seto is a book worm who likes to fact-check. I'm sure he did extensive research and is prepared for whatever comes his way," the archer pointed out.

Ty smiled and nodded, agreeing with Mitch. They all know how Seto can be, he won't try something unless he is sure of it and if he isn't...well he is powerful so there isn't much stopping him from doing what he wants. "Yeah."

Ian looked at them. "I want to keep Seto's activities a secret, we can't have anyone going after him and screwing up the chance of him finding the eggs. So anything said about Seto is never to leave this room, the only two people we are going to tell are Adam and Jerome. Is that clear with everyone?" Everyone agreed. And as the Generals, Captain Gizza, Captain Dartron, and Ty spoke, the newer captains felt almost out of place. Sure they know that their position grants them permission to be present, but listening to how the higher-ups work through problems as opposed to the normal just being giving the orders of the finalized decisions is strange and interesting to them.

"So this is how they normally work through stuff, I wonder how it is with Commander Skylen here," Tyler mumbled to the other captains. They agreed with Tyler, listening to the higher-ups.

"Quentin, how is Adam doing? Any new updates?" Ian asked the doctor.

Quentin loses his smile. "He's getting sick, he won't admit it but I can tell that he is getting sick. With how...fragile Sky's health can be at times, I wouldn't be surprised if he has a fever or something more."
