There Gone

It was the day after they let the hybrids out of the paddock for exercise and it looked like they were going to do it again today. Nate was waiting outside the hotel by the jeep which was a difference for a change, usually Jack was the one waiting for Nate by the jeep. Nate decided to wake up early today. Nate watched as Jack left the hotel with a smile on his face which is an improvement from Jack tearing up the other day.

Nate: good morning Jack!

Jack: hey good morning lil bro!

They both got in the jeep and drove to the paddock. When they got there Nate did what he usually did as Jack walked over to the gate of the paddock as the gate began to open and the hybrid girls walked out. As Nate did his patrol he thought about yesterday and how Echo acted.

Nate: she.... Was nice to me..... I wonder what she really thinks of me......

Nate then thought about how she called him by his name. He really liked how she called him by his name so much he began to smile and his face began getting warm.

Guard #4: hey pretty boy what you getting so red about!

Nate was snapped out of his thoughts as he saw 2 guards laughing at him. He instantly got embarrassed and felt bad. Suddenly the guards stopped laughing as Echo walked by Nate. Echo gave the guards a death stare.

Guard #5: quit staring at us like that you filthy hybrid, keep staring at us like that and you'll get a bullet in your gut!

Echo: watch your tone with me human! That gun of yours might shoot bullets quick but in close proximity like this my claws will rip you to shreds a whole lot quicker!

The guards jumped back a little as Echo looked back at Nate who's face lit up as he looked at her. For a second Nate thought he saw a smile on her face before she turned around and walked off to the trail that her and her sisters went on runs on.

-3 hours and 30 minutes later-

Nate was finishing his last lap around the paddock when he heard som guards joking about his brother Jack.

Guard #5: haha I guarantee that one raptor trainer is getting all kissy kissy with that one hybrid!

Guard #6: yeah what a freak! Haha!

Nate: hey! Quit talking about my brother like that!

Guard #5: oh look who's speaking up! Listen here you fucking twink! Your brother is a-

Before the guard could say anymore, two of the hybrids ran back out of the trail. Nate noticed it was Charlie and Delta. After a few minutes Jack ran out of the trail as well. Turns out Jurassic World didn't only make 5 hybrids, they made 6 and the name of this 6th hybrid was Indra and apparently she attacked Blue and Jack while they were on the trail.

Jack: we were attacked by the hybrid that escaped

Owen: I know, the security is currently chasing as we speak

Jack: do they know where blue is, last I saw her she was fighting the hybrid

Owen: no she hasn't come back yet same as Echo

Nate saw a worried expression on Jack's face, Nate watched as he ran over to a small trailer that contained supplies. He grabbed a flashlight, med kit and since he was trusted enough he had access to some weapons, he grabbed a pistol for protection and began to walk back into the jungle.

Jack: you can drive the jeep back to the hotel right?

Nate: yeah

Owen: I'm not allowed to let you go back in there but I know how much you care for her so be safe out there ok?

Jack: I will

Nate then watched as his older brother walked into the jungle to look for Blue.

Nate then got a little worried but his thoughts were cut off when he realized he had to go since his shift was over. He got in the jeep and began to drive back to the hotel. The drive was quiet and lonely since his brother wasn't there. Even though he tried to keep his mind off it he couldn't help but be worried for his brother but he reassured himself that he was going to be ok. He also couldn't help but be worried for Jack's "friend" (secret crush) Blue along with wondering where Echo is.
