I can't believe hitch left so quickly. I didn't know he meant he had to leave that soon, and why did he not even say goodbye.
When I woke up he had disappeared. The only thing he left was a note.
A few days later......
Being a sheriff was boring. I don't know how hitch kept up with all the work he had to do, he'd only left for a few days and I was already worn out. Now I understand why nobody else is working here.Why did I think being sheriff would be fun?
I couldn't help but admire how hardworking hitch is. I can't even remember the last time he had a break. Thinking back on it now, I must have just been a nuisance to him, I wonder why hitch kept me here.I was always sleeping or slacking off.I should stop thinking about him though,I have work to do.
A day later........
It was embarrassing to admit but I was starting to feel a bit lonely, which was weird since I wasn't. I still talked to my friends, the only thing that had changed was that hitch had gone. Wait....... Do I miss him?!
No. No way, I'm just fatigued from all the work, I must not be thinking straight. I hope he comes back soon though........
The next day.......
"Ugh..... I'm so tired." I groaned, my face planted on the desk. I'm not sure how much longer I could go on for, I think I might die of overwork if this goes on.
My eyelids feel really heavy, ugh..... I need to sleep, but the paperwork.......My eyes flutter closed.
" I hope he comes back soon....I miss him..." I whisper, falling into a deep sleep.
