Eight Years Later,
Bucky and Kristin were in the treehouse that James and Donnie built for them. She was reading while he played with cars.
She closed her book when Bucky wouldn't stop with the sound effects, "lets color or play Candyland." She said
"Or Uno.." Bucky said
"Fine.." she said
They played two rounds of Uno and Candyland. As they laid there staring out their skylit at the stars.
Bucky looked at her, "Promise me Krissy that you'll always be my best friend." He said
She looked at him, "Yes, but you have to be mine too."
He reached over for her hand "Pinky promise.." he said
"Pinky promise." She said
"Kids! Time to come in, Kristin has to go home" Winnie yelled from the back porch.
Bucky walked her home after they climbed down.
