The Scenery of a College

As I lay in the sunlit grass
And enjoy the warmth that shields me from the world's chill,
I absorb the serenity and beauty
Of the nature that surrounds me,
And all but me and the flora becomes still.

The shamrock-green trees sway in the wind,
And the slivers of green beneath me tickle my resting soma.
My mind, however, is aroused and awake
To soak up as much as she can take
From the scenery's welcoming, refreshing aroma.
