(D2) Boco

Boco is a Metropolitan Vickers Type 2 diesel C0-B0 electric locomotive, designed and built for British railways under the 1955 Modernisation plan, generally being used for express freight work. Boco was apart of the first batch built in 1954, being given the number D5702 upon his entry to service. D5702 would initially work on the london midland region, being one of the few Class 28's to operate the Condor trains, but he would unfortunately break down more often than most of the other Class 28's at that time being given his name 'Boco', (as an insult by fellow classmates), however, he would one day be tasked with bringing a goods train to Brendam docks, and collecting a rake of China clay to bring back to the depot when he returned. However, as we all know, an encounter with the China Clay twins and TFC saw him becoming a permanent member of the NWR. Upon arrival, Boco would very briefly stay at TIdmouth MPD, before seeing permanent allocation on the Brendam branch line, hauling goods from the docks to the mainland and back. Boco, throughout his time on the NWR, has almost always been seen in BR green with yellow warning panels.
