For the second theme for my 80s/90s book, I will be doing characters from the movie
"Stand by Me". The movie was released in 1986, and includes some famous actors from the 80s.
On google (or safari) it describes the movie like this:
"After the death of one of his friends, a writer (Gordie LaChance) recounts a childhood journey with his friends to find the body of a missing boy. It's the summer of 1959 in Castlerock, Oregon and four 12 year-old boys - Gordie, Chris, Teddy and Vern - are fast friends."
You can watch it on Prime Video, I think maybe Hulu, and sometimes they put it on Netflix, but they do take it off every now and then.
