Andra POV:
It has been a couple of months and me and Kai have been consistently meeting with Zakai. We have also been keeping track of what Joshua had been doing, which is nothing serious so far, he also has no idea that Kai is alive
Kai and I were sitting on the couch, me watching TV and Kai in a deep slumber at 8PM
Suddenly Kai's phone rings loudly and he stirs in his sleep
"Andie, can you pick that up for me?" he grumbles in his sleepy voice
"Andie? what type of a nickname is that?"
"A pretty one" he mutters before falling asleep again
I chuckle to myself while grabbing Kai's phone
I looked at the caller ID and saw Jo's name
My brows furrowed in confusion because Jo never calls at this time
"Hello?" I ask
"Andra? where's Kai?" Jo asks
I hear the slight panic in her voice "he's asleep, is everything okay?"
"No I need you and Kai to come over right now"
"Woah what happened?"
"Just come please" she tells me
"Ok" I reply and hang up
I look at Kai
"Kai"
"I heard everything, lets go" he tells me, starting to become fully awake from his deep slumber
My heart swells, looking at Kai Parker, the guy who once tried to kill his sister, now going to help her instead of doing anything else

We knock on Jo's door and she opens it
"Come in" is all she says
We go inside and see Ric inside looking just as stressed and worried as Jo
"Ok what happened" Kai finally says
"You're gonna wanna sit down for this" Ric says and we both sit on their couch
Jo sits besides us and takes a deep breath "so as you guys know I'm pregnant" she begins and we slowly nod, not exactly knowing where this is going
"They are twins" she says
"Yeah and the worst part about this-other than the fact that they will eventually have to merge- is that Joshua found out that they are twins and he plans on making them merge even earlier"
"How did he find out?" Kai asks
"We have no idea but I will not let one of my kids die because of my stupid father" Jo says
"How about we confront him now?" Ric asks
"Wouldn't that be kinda dangerous?" I press
"We don't fight, we just confront him"
Kai nods "you know what? lets do it, we've been sitting around doing nothing for months"
Ric also nods in agreement "tomorrow morning"

The next morning Kai and I teleport us and Ric to Portland, leaving Jo in Mystic Falls because it was too dangerous for her to get associated with this while being 7 months pregnant
