"Because your eyes said you were feeling it too"
They were seated quietly in taehyung's huge car, jimin on the passenger's seat and taehyung driving. the only sound was the cold wind howling, it wasn't an awkward silence, even though jimin did feel embarrassed and upset, it still wasn't disturbing
Jimin sighed staring out the window resting his head on the seat, taehyung took a secret glance at the said boy then back at the road. His eyes kept lingering in between the angel-looking guy and the dark road whose only source of light was taehyung's car's headlights and the bright moonlight
The foggy night brought a source of comfort over jimin, even though he was sitting in his boss' car who he absolutely hated and was most definitely scared of not to forget his boss' extreme mood swings that always left the boy perplexed. At a lonely night, tired as hell. It was definitely quiet the moment I'd say
And suddenly, the calm silence was interrupted by a weird noise that had apparently came from jimin's empty stomach which hadn't gotten any supplement in it so it was only fair for it to complain
Jimin cursed at himself mentally covering his stomach with his slim arms attempting to cover the rumbling, taehyung's eyes turned towards jimin as the aforementioned looked down in embarrassment squinting his eyes not wanting to even look at his boss
Taehyung sighed as he spun the steering wheel 180° with a firm grip over it, the grip was so strong that his knuckles turned white
Due to the sudden pulling of tires the car lost its balance and the tires created a screeching sound getting in a inforceable contact with the jaggered ground
And without his conscious jimin's delicate hand reached up towards taehyung's manly ones that was on the gear lever, his breathing got uneven and his heart paced up its speed leaving jimin in a uncomfortable state
Once the car was finally back in it's normal speed, jimin opened his eyes panting softly as he glanced at taehyung "why are we going back?" He asked in a rather soft tone that indicated he was scared
When all he got in return from the latter was silence he sighed once again keeping his eyes on the older male
Why are you like this? You hurt me then comfort me, and you make me feel the worst and best at the same time.
He turned his head around his eyes now leaving taehyung's face and staring out the car, Taehyung stopped the car near the only restaurant that was opened at that time of the night
it wasn't a luxurious restaurant neither a cheap one, I mean of course, the Kim taehyung would not even spare a glance at that place if it was cheap, he stepped out of the car walking towards jimin's side as he opened the car door for jimin to come out, jimin stared up at him "I'm fine you-" Jimin's sentence was cut off when taehyung leaned in opening his seatbelt
He stared deep into jimin's eyes as he unbuckled the belt and there goes the whole jungle going crazy in jimin's stomach "speak when I tell you to" taehyung said, more like commanded. not breaking the eye contact with jimin and if it were someone else jimin would've probably fought with them but somehow it makes jimin feel something different like he wants to hear that often
Jimin gulped down and nodded biting his lower lip taehyung's eyes traveled down to jimin's lips that were between his teeth building further tension between the pair than there already was the sudden thud of someone shutting a door made them break whatever was going on between them as taehyung looked back at the men coming out of the restaurant cursing the service and the waiter
They both entered the restaurant some people were sitting in the restaurant, taehyung looked around for a second trying to look for a table that was far away from all these people, even though there were barely any he still didn't want to sit near anyone, finally his eyes landed on a table at the end of the room as he started to walk towards it
they both sat down at the table the waiter who just got scolded by his boss comes to their table with a menu card in his hands, he approached the pair with a bright smile on his lips "what may i get you to?" he spoke setting down the menu card on the table taking out his notepad and holding his pen staring at the two males, taehyung threw the menu card Infront of jimin "order" he simply said and jimin nodded taking the menu in his small hands
"um...I would like the chicken cream steak" he spoke politely at the waiter who nodded writing jimin's order down
"And for you sir?" The waiter asked taehyung with a welcoming smile "a Paloma" taehyung replied "I want that too" jimin shyly added he has never had that before so he ordered it in curiosity the waiter nodded and went to another table the person ordered the same juice as taehyung copying him and taehyung rolled his eyes at him when he smiled back at him
He then whispered something into the waiter's ear and the waiter left winking at the customer who seemed to be his friend taehyung and jimin stayed quiet staring at each other in-between minutes, jimin sighed shifting in his seat uncomfortably
while on the other hand taehyung looked calm and not interested in whatever was going on, whenever jimin's eyes will meet the other's an odd feeling will settle itself in jimin's stomach making him further uncomfortable,
after what seemed like hours of waiting but was really only 30 minutes the waiter came in with a tray of food in his hand, he walked towards taehyung and jimin's table setting down the tray as he set the delicious-looking steak in front of jimin whose mouth watered just at the sight of the food
he sat down another plate in front of jimin which seemed to be a salad, 'accompaniments...nice' jimin thought to himself, once his food was set in front of him he glanced back at the waiter smiling softly "thank you" he looked down at his food again
suddenly, the waiter got quiet staring at the four glasses of the same drink on the tray he sighed trying to guess which one was for the other table and which one was for taehyung and jimin, and with taking a lucky guess he held the glass on the left and set it in front of taehyung and held the other glass which was right beside the previous one and set it in front of jimin
"Enjoy your meal" he spoke with a hint of nervousness in his tone, taehyung noticed it but didn't think much of it reaching out his hand to hold the glass, he held it in between his slender fingers staring at jimin as he took a sip of the drink it taste a bit weird but shrugged it off
he watched jimin struggle to cut the steak but once he was done he took a bite of it and the smile on his face made taehyung chuckle, but he quickly covered it up by drinking his drink again "is it good?" taehyung asked in a low tone and jimin nodded rapidly
"sho good!" he exclaimed while still having the food in his mouth he then took a sip of the drink he ordered copying taehyung, jimin quietly eat his food while taehyung stare at the boy drinking the juice with not so innocent eyes the playfully smirk plastered on his face as soon as jimin looks up at him with the same eyes licking his lips , it's going to be long night for both of them.
