Chapter 17

For every question "why", you were my "because" 

"Tae tae" taehyung turned around as soon as he heard the honey voice calling him, he felt like he came alive in the thunderstorm as the words hit his ears like lightning awakening his soul, he looks at jimin standing in the doorway in his old night suite, it felt as if someone turned back time

When they were two hearts in one home beating in sync, sharing the same air, staring at each other so lovingly, jimin calling him with the same loveable voice, he runs to taehyung and wrapped his body around him colliding their hearts once again that lights up, coming back to life

"I missed you so much" jimin mumbled making taehyung's heart accelerate as reality struck him like a burning lightning bolt he remembered? "I'm sorry, I'm sorry I don't know how... I'm a very bad person I know I was supposed to help you through all of this but..." jimin said in between sobs he couldn't find the words or he didn't dare to say he forgets the love of his life

"Do-do you remember me? tae I'm your jimin" jimin cups taehyung's face in his little palms covering only half of it, but little did he know his lover is the reason he forgot him, "I'm sorry chim, please forgive me" taehyung spoke finally collecting the courage to talk to jimin "why are you apologizing?"

"I had to save you no matter what it'll take..." Taehyung uttered out "what are you talking about?" Jimin asked backing away from him "I'm sorry jiminie but there was no other way to keep you safe from all of this" taehyung added stepping closer to him "i-i had to keep you away from me but I knew you can't live without me knowing everything so I...."

"So you removed all of your memories from my head?" Jimin held his collar shaking him "I don't have a choice but to let you go, and for that, I have to remove every trace of me from your life so you won't miss me" taehyung held his hand explaining his side "I missed you every day, asshole"

"You removed yourself from my mind but what about the heart? that aches for you, I was miserable not knowing what to do? Who to run to!" He pushes taehyung taking his anger out "how could you do this to me? You snatched my only happiness away attempting to save me?

"do you even know how many times I thought to end this life because I felt so alone in a room of crowded people I still felt alone, not knowing who I'm missing, I was living but I never felt alive, you knew you were the only reason I was alive than how could you think you are saving me by pushing me away from you?"

"I know min, that's why I did all of this but I didn't know you'll still feel this way," jimin hits his chest pushing him back "save me, keep me away from danger but what about you?" He stares into taehyung's eyes with his hurtful guilty eyes "how do you live remembering all of this and seeing those horrible creatures?"

"I didn't live... I died.... every day" taehyung said taking his lower lip in-between his teeth, tears slipped down his on his cheeks and every tear he shed lits a spark in jimin's chest, "I've lost count of how many times..... I feel like my soul is ripping out of my body" the hurt inside of his heart that he kept hidden behind his cocky boss behavior was coming out in front of his soulmate, his healer

"I don't want to lose you but I can't see you die in front of me I was scared... I'm scared jimin" taehyung broke down in sobs letting all of his guards down "My baby" jimin hugged him tightly "you won't lose me, we'll live forever in each other, our souls are tied taehyungie there's nothing in this entire universe that could break us apart, not even universe itself, not even the gods above could separate the two of us" jimin whispered soothingly as taehyung hides his face in his chest wrapping his long arms around his waist

"Nothing can come between, you and I" he whispered again sighing as he tried to keep his broken sobs inside, he felt as if it wasn't his place to cry right now, as if he didn't have a right to mourn over the fact that he was separated from his lover in the most brutal, fatal way

Even without a single memory of the raven head his heart still ached for him, he never knew who and why his heart was burning as if a thousand flames were lit inside of his chest but it still did. Nonetheless, breaking him into numerous pieces which were impossible to pick up

But that pain was nothing compared to the horrendous torment he was feeling right now, seeing and hearing how his soulmate was suffering so much and he had zero clue about it how he wasn't there to comfort him and love him through all of those terrible moments which he shouldn't have had to go through alone

Taehyung look up at jimin with his tearstained face as his bottom lip trembled, jimin smiled sadly leaning in as he put his soft lips on taehyung's chapped ones, taehyung felt relief, calmness, and pleasure replace the agony, suffering, and discomforts making him feel like heaven was right at hos footsteps

He longed to kiss jimin for years, and now having him so close to himself like this, having jimin kiss him so softly and lovingly like this made his soul levitate to cloud nine

Both of them moved their mouth in sync feeling the softness of each other's lips, jimin hummed in between the kiss feeling his heart glow and warmth of love engulf him

He couldn't be happier, the emptiness he felt in himself for years was filled with content, he felt the power, the magic, and the magic around him, his whole world was with him in his arms attached to his lips, taehyung had a spot in his heart that no one could ever have,

On the other hand, taehyung was feeling like he's high above the sky lost in the galaxy called Park Jimin, he can lose everything but not him he can lose himself but not him, they were out of breath but no one dares to let go of one another afraid to wake from the sweet dream they were into afraid of the cruel reality that always tore them apart

Taehyung finally broke the kiss if it wasn't for jimin losing his breath he would never let go, he stares into the caramel eyes of jimin and he can see his forever in those eyes, his ebony eyes started to close slowly he smiled sweetly at jimin before falling on his knees "Taehyung!!" Jimin screamed as his lover fell down on the cold hard ground shutting his eyes

  
Jimin crouched down beside taehyung's unconscious body "taehyung" he shook his body trying to wake him, his whole body started to tremble in fear, not knowing what to do? There he goes again crying for his lover, their happiness never last long always as the whole world is fighting to make them apart but they are being stubborn still clenching to each other.
