Chapter 13

"you have no idea of the pain that runs through my veins"

I think... I know someone who can help you" the spirit said crossing his hand on his chest "what?" taehyung spoke, a flicker of hope was visible in his despair eyes "there's someone like you, who can see us maybe she can help you find your answers or maybe a solution"

"I can take you to her if you want to" the spirit added taehyung took a deep breath thinking. he can't believe a stranger mostly a spirit but there's no option than to grab the little opportunity he got from this unknown spirit "okay" "come with me then" the man spoke confusing taehyung, he hesitated for a second but stood up nonetheless following the man from behind

Taehyung and the spirit got in taehyung's car and with his directions, taehyung drove to the nearby forest he stopped the car on the road that had long forest on both sides and he walked into the forest following the spirit

taehyung had been walking with the man for 15 minutes now, although it felt like a lifetime to him he remained silent quietly absorbing everything he saw on their way, "just a few more steps" the man assured making taehyung look at him and nod

they walked throw an odd forest but it wasn't the eerie type you'd see. it was rather calming and beautiful, fresh emerald nature everywhere, the sound of the birds flocking.

But after walking for while the forest changed completely into a creepy one, anxiety crippled taehyung's skin as they neared the darker part of the forest, the fresh wind and birds were now long gone as they walked and walked towards the harsher bushes and trees "how long?" taehyung asked looking around trying to not be skeptical of the man "just a bit more" he spoke

the sound of the river flowing softly was calming to taehyung, it was a nice thing to hear in this eerie forest. "here we are" the man spoke as taehyung sighed staring at the old and grim cottage

it was an old cottage that had branches of dead leaves all over it, the spirit knocked on the door a few times and the woman in a witch attire opened the door staring at both of them. taehyung shifted uncomfortably in her gaze but soon her dark eyes softened when the spirit gives her an assuring nod she wide opens the door gesturing them to come inside

Taehyung looked around the whole cottage it had only one room and the kitchen was attached to it, at the corner it had a door. taehyung guessed it as washroom, it didn't have much furniture only an old bed on the side of the room and a couch in the center a table which had so much creepy stuff on it and cupboard full of books, the whole room was decorated in old witchy stuff, a couple of candles was placed in the chandelier that was hanging from the ceiling which were illuminating the dark cottage

The woman gestured taehyung to sit on the couch and he sat on the couch opening his blazer's button. it was hot in there but she seemed fine with the temperature "so you are gifted too?" She said her voice was honey-sweet unlike the dark avatar of her, she was wearing a black long dress it had black swan feathers on it making it look more glorious and matching long gloves on her slim hands and shining rings over the top of the gloves in her long thin fingers,

the said witch had tan skin and long brunette curly hair, she was wearing a beautiful forehead accessory and she had a black substance covering her eyes making her look more intimidating "it's more like a curse to me" taehyung replied in his deep voice "everything seems to be a curse to people like you, who doesn't know the power of them"

"I don't want power... I want love" taehyung added thinking about his jimin "hmm... what brings you here then?" She sat beside taehyung crossing her legs "I want to get rid of it, I don't want it" taehyung impatiently said, "do you born with it?" She asked leaning back on the couch

"No, I had a nightmare couple of days ago and since then I'm seeing them" taehyung explained she nods her head "it's weird cause people are usually born with it since you don't have it from your birth I have to look" she stood up and walked to the table that was placed beside her bed she came back with a bowl of black water in her hand

"Lay down" she ordered taehyung he looked at her for seconds but laid down anyway following her order, she gestures the spirit that brings taehyung here something with her hand he bowed down before disappearing in the air. she dipped her fingers in the bowl and then put the black liquid on taehyung's forehead who was laying on the couch

She holds taehyung's head from sides "close your eyes and don't open till I tell you too or else you'll face the worst circumstances" and taehyung closed his eyes as the sharp pain hits his head, he screamed in pain that echoes in the thin walls of the cottage she started spelling some magical spells the pain started to vanish from his head

Taehyung opens his eyes in the same dark forest he saw in his dream, he was confused he was with that witch in her cottage laying on her couch then how he ended up here, he heard a growling sound of someone he looks behind him and the girl in a white dress was sitting by the tree her head was buried in her knees taehyung hesitantly took steps toward her fear was building up inside of him but he has to do everything for his love

He put his trembling hand on her shoulder she snapped her head up as her expression softened seeing his face, taehyung's heart dropped in his stomach to see who she was... "M-Maeve?" He said in shock he couldn't believe his eyes "is he dreaming again?" "Taehyung!!" she stood up and hugged taehyung crashing her thin body into taehyung's broad one

Taehyung hesitantly wrapped his hand around her hugging her back, taehyung was the one who broke the hug asking her "what are you doing here? Where am I?" She smiled tugging his hair strands behind his ear "you still look the same, so handsome so charming" she said with the shining eyes roaming her hands around his body

Taehyung hold her hands stopping her from touching him "answer my question, Maeve" she looked up at him with the pout on her lips "it's a forest of spirits and I'm stuck here" she said fidgeting with her fingers "aren't all the spirits went to the gardens of Gods?" Taehyung asked knotting his brows in confusion

"Hmm... only the good once" she replied, "Then why are you here?" Taehyung asked putting his hand on her cheeks in worry he still cares about her "because of you!!!... I ended up here because of you, it happened all because of you" she pointed her finger at taehyung digging it in his chest "and you are living your happy life with that bitch" her expression darkens

"It is only fair if you'll live the same hell as I do," she said with gritted teeth "I've lived my hell, I had my punishment... I was stuck in that dark room for years until.... He came" taehyung smiled thinking about how jimin changed his life saving him from that dark hell "don't mention him!" She screamed in his face

Her beautiful face turned into the same scarier one taehyung saw in his dream, he backed away from her "I won't let him have you, you are mine if you don't love me... you can't love anyone else" her voice completely changed too "Maeve what happened to you? You weren't like that... you always wanted me to be happy and I'm the happiest with him"

Taehyung fights with his fear and holds her hands trying to calm her down and bring her old self back sweet and loving "did you think about my happiness before cheating on me using me for my body?" She snatches her hands back from taehyung "I'm sorry, I was so cruel and idiotic back then I didn't know what love was but he changed me he taught me the beautiful meaning of love, I'm sorry Maeve"

"I said don't mention him I hate him!" she growled in his face the yellow liquid dripped down from her mouth "you won't get your happy ending Kim taehyung, You see this scar" she pulls his hand up revealing the scar she left on his hand in that dream "this connects you to this world, and it won't heal till I get my revenge"

"You will die thousands of deaths every day knowing he died because of you, you will watch his soul leaving his body you will see when his body turn into blue you will see him die with your own eyes... they'll kill him"

"No, please" taehyung covered his ears blocking her cruel words as tears fall from his eyes he fell on his knees crying begging her to stop......
