Friday update today guys as tomorrow I'm not sure if I'll have the time!

This idea came from FreyaFeather . Lily tells Jack the truth of why Ares and Aster acted tense at first, an on going argument from the past that set a bad mood that still hasn't gone away between the two.

What happened between the father and son that made things tense?

--------------------------

Monday

Jack chewed his nails as, once again, there was a stare down going on between Ares and Aster. He didn't understand it as the energy cracked through the area, most of the other Pooka's glancing their way. He had seen them do this on occasion if there was a disagreement between them. It was almost like a power match in their staring contest.

He watched as Eleanor walked up between them as she sent Ares away with a look that screamed pissed off. His father shook his head before walking away to go work with some of the other males. It didn't make sense to him what was going on between them as he wasn't sure what to do about it. He hated how his family had hidden problems that for some reason weren't solved.

He noticed more and more as he truly got settled in that there was an unsolved tension between Ares and Aster, one that Lily or Eleanor would mostly have to break up. He was worried.

"Don't worry about it, Jack. It's not something you want to get into it." He turned to find one of the other male Pooka's that were brought back. He couldn't really remember his name, one day he would remember all the names but couldn't do it now.

"But why? What happened between them?" The male just looked at him with a blank face before releasing a deep breath, shaking his head. He didn't seem to want to speak on it but whatever happened was big enough for everyone to stop and stare when they started their stare off.

"The Bunnymund family is the line of Chieftain's for the tribe. It all started when Ridley decided he wanted to be the Holy Warrior instead of the line for Chieftain. There wasn't anyone else in the family line of Warrior's to take place so Ridley decided he wanted it instead of title as Chief. Aster was the next child born, then Liam. As they grew up, Eleanor noticed Liam was more of a healer than he was a warrior. That meant Ast-"

"Charlie. Walk away." He froze at the sound of his father's voice behind him. There was a tone in it that made everything in him want to run away. It sounded like he wasn't his father right now or the Easter Bunny he knew. This sounded like a warrior like Charlie was talking about. He had only heard this voice in fights with other people.

Jack turned to find Bunny behind him was a glare towards the male walking away. His father was standing straighter and taller than normal, it made him intimidating enough that Jack shrunk back. He saw his father's eyes dim as Bunny let a short breath come out before his shoulder's lowered and he stepped back. Jack swallowed realizing he actually had fear for a second there.

Bunny ran a paw over his face as he watched Jack back away from him. That was something he never wanted as his anger was still running through him. He let another breath go through him before meeting the nervous eyes in front of him. It didn't surprise him that Jack wanted to know what was going on but he wasn't ready to talk about it.

"Don't worry about it, Jack. You don't need to worry about me or Ares. It's all going to be okay." Jack frowned as Bunny walked away with nothing more to give him. He watched his father leave and couldn't help but let his nervous habit start back up, chewing his nails. He couldn't handle family drama. He hated seeing it.
