I know this is teasing basically by not finishing the series quick enough but I got a request in my DM's for a happy chapter in between. I missed a post for Valentine's Day so this is me making up for it and giving you guys a little taste of happiness.

this chapter will include all the couples I have ever made in this one-shot story from Jack's perspective. It will be small moments between each couple showing off moments never before seen and personalities not shown, from before Jack met Archie to after. Some will be short then others being long.

Pitch & Emily

"Who gave you the false hope I wanted you over here?" Jack watched with a smile hidden behind his book as Emily and Pitch went back and forth with each other. There were rare moments when the two would let their walls down and allow themselves to be true in public.

They were a sarcastic couple, filled with tense banter and flirting in a form no one else understood. It looked like they hated each other sometimes but he had learned that's how they show their love.

"If you'd stop looking at me every two minutes, I wouldn't have even come over here." Jack watched as Pitch rolled his eyes like she wasn't telling the truth. The Nightmare king had been glancing back and forth between Emily and his own book.

"You need your eyes checked, darling. I haven't looked at you." He watched Pitch glare at the pages of his book as Emily stood over his shoulder with a smirk equal to his. Jack watched her lean down to whisper in Pitch's ear, he was very glad he couldn't hear whatever she was saying from the way a small smirk pulled at the edge of the nightmare king's lips.

"Get a room." He watched Emily look at him with a wink before she pulled Pitch away. He faked a gag as they walked out but couldn't help the smile that formed. He was happy that Pitch was happy.

Ares & Eleanor

Jack walked the trails of the Warren as he let the snow spread from his feet. He had gone centuries watching the world change, the humans killing themselves, fighting for no reason, the seasons changing. He had seen everything move around him as he stayed an immortal teenager. The worst thing he watched was others fall in love.

He just didn't understand love. He had seen the worst of love but he'd also seen the best? Had he seen the best? He was raised by a woman who couldn't be with the man she loved because of an abusive partner. None of the Seasonals were in a true relationship. There was no relationship in the Guardians.

Who could show him the best in love if he'd only ever seen the wors-

"Ares Bunnymund, what do you think you're doing?" Jack looked up to find Ares and Eleanor standing by the creek. He tilted his head as he watched Ares picking at the flowers he had planted. They were Winter lilies that Mary had given him before she left. He watched Ares put some water around the edges before looking back at Eleanor.

"I'm looking after Jack's plants. He hasn't been back in a few days." Jack blinked back emotions. He had done a disappearing act on everyone again for a few days now. He didn't even realize that Ares had noticed. He didn't think his grandfather noticed him much.

"He is a special boy, I am glad Aster found him." He watched Eleanor walk up to Ares, setting her paw between his ears. He flinched in surprise as the strong Chief Ares he knew stayed on his knees at her feet while he looked up to her.

"I need to apologize to Aster. In order for me to be close to Jackson, I need to make amends with Aster. I don't know how I'll fix things this time, love." Jack watched in fascination as Eleanor smiled down at Ares but kept petting his head. He watched as Ares seemed just fine staying at her feet, rubbing the back of her knee.
