I rode the bus to school, bobbing and shaking in my seat. While I looked idly out my window, watching the city's scenery change, the bus picked up more and more people

Most of them were young people wearing high school uniforms

Yotsuba:" Oh! So it's his first day:

Miyuki:" So those are the other elite students...."

Hachiman: ( The bus is packed...)

An unsteady elderly lady stood in front of me, wobbling so badly I thought she was in danger of falling.

Chitanda: "Ayanokoji-san should give up his seat for her..."

Chitanda was worried for the old lady on the screen.

Mayaka: "I think he will."

I was fortunate to have a seat, but it was still crowded. I forgot about the unfortunate elderly woman and patient waited to arrive at my destination.

Chitanda: "Eh?"

Yotsuba:" Wait, did Ayanokoji-san just ignore her like that? Isn't it right to give up your seat...?"

Hachiman: "He got on the bus and got the seat first. Besides, he's not on a priority seat so he is not obliged to give up his seat."

Everyone silently agreed with Hachiman except those who were considerate and kind.

Mayaka: "You're thinking of sleeping aren't you Oreki."

That wasn't a question, the tone of voice she used felt like more of a statement.

Oreki: "Can you blame me? Ayanokoji is talking about the scenery and how he could have easily fallen asleep. I'm quite tired you know?"

Fukube: "That sounds like him alright"

Fukube snickered while Mayaka sighed.

Chitanda: "Oreki-san, would you like to sleep for now and I'll wake you up?"

Oreki: "No thanks, Chitanda. I can live through it. "

Mayaka:" Hopefully."

Oreki: ( yeah....hopefully)

However, my gentle respite was promptly obliterated.

" Excuse me, but shouldn't you offer up your seat?

Everyone paid attention to the new voice.

Huh? Could this person be angry with me? But I realized that it was someone else being scolded.

A young, well built blond man of high school age had sat down in one of the priority seats. The elderly woman stood right next to him, and another woman stood beside her. This second, younger lady appeared to be an office worker

" Hey, you there. Can't you see that this elderly woman is having trouble?" The office lady said.

Yotsuba:" Okay! He can't defend against that! He's literally sitting in a priority seat."

Nino: ( Unless he's some sort of guy who's full of himself....)

Miyuki: "I agree with Yotsuba."
